4. Installation Guide

The installation process typically takes about 15 minutes. No extra drilling is needed for standard US doors.

4.1. Door Preparation

• Ensure your door meets the thickness requirements (1 3/8" to 2 3/16" or 35mm-55mm).
• Verify the backset (distance from door edge to center of bore hole) is 2-3/8" or 2-3/4" (60mm or 70mm).
• Confirm door holes are 2-1/8" (54mm) in diameter.

4.2. Install the Latch Bolt

1. Insert the latch bolt into the door edge hole. Ensure the "UP" arrow on the latch bolt is pointing upwards.
2. Secure the latch bolt with screws.

4.3. Install the Exterior Unit

1. Feed the cable from the exterior unit through the door hole, ensuring the spindle aligns with the latch bolt.
2. Position the exterior unit flush against the door.

5. App Setup and Connectivity

The BEBASIA Smart Lock uses the TTlock app for full control and management.

1. Download the App: Scan the QR code in the included user manual or search for "TTlock" in your device's app store (Google Play for Android, Apple App Store for iOS).
2. Register an Account: Follow the in-app instructions to create and register your account.
3. Pair the Lock:
   • Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
   • Open the TTlock app and select "Add Lock".
   • Place your phone near the lock. The app will detect the lock.
   • Follow the prompts to pair the lock with your account.
   • You may be asked to name your lock (e.g., "Front Door").
4. Remote and Voice Control (Gateway Required): To enable remote unlocking and voice control with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant, a BEBASIA gateway (sold separately) is required. Pair the gateway with your lock via the app.

6. Operation

Your BEBASIA Smart Lock offers multiple access methods for convenience and security.

6.1. Unlocking Methods

• Fingerprint: Place your registered finger on the fingerprint sensor. The lock will unlock if the fingerprint is recognized.
• Passcode: Enter your programmed passcode on the touchscreen keypad, followed by '#'.
• IC Card: Tap a registered IC card against the card reader area on the exterior unit.
• Smartphone App: Open the TTlock app, select your lock, and tap the unlock icon.
• Backup Keys: Use the physical backup keys in the hidden keyhole for manual unlocking.
• Thumb Turn: From the interior, manually turn the thumb turn to unlock.

6.2. Locking Methods

• One-Touch Locking: Press and hold the '#' key on the keypad for 2 seconds.
• Auto-Lock: Configure auto-lock settings via the TTlock app (5-900 seconds delay). The lock will automatically engage after the set time.
• Smartphone App: Open the TTlock app, select your lock, and tap the lock icon.
• Thumb Turn: From the interior, manually turn the thumb turn to lock.

• Privacy Mode: Disables all external access methods (fingerprint, passcode, card) for enhanced privacy from the inside.
• Passage Mode: Keeps the door unlocked for a specified period, allowing free entry and exit without credentials.
• Silent Mode: Disables all sound prompts from the lock for quiet operation.
• Anti-Peeping Password: Enter random digits before or after your actual passcode to prevent others from guessing your code.
• Wrong Passcode Limit: The lock will temporarily disable after multiple incorrect passcode attempts.
