Troubleshooting

Remote Not Responding or Air Conditioner Not Reacting

If the remote does not seem to work or the air conditioner does not respond to commands, follow these steps:

  1. Check Batteries: Ensure batteries are inserted correctly with the proper polarity and are not depleted. Replace with new 1.5V AAA alkaline batteries if necessary.
  2. Line of Sight: Ensure there is a clear line of sight between the remote's infrared emitter and the air conditioner's receiver. Obstructions can block the signal.
  3. Distance: Make sure you are within the effective operating range of the air conditioner's receiver.
  4. Custom Code Setting (If Applicable): Some universal replacement remotes may require setting a custom code if the default operation does not work. Refer to the instructions on the back of the remote for this process.

Custom Code Setting Instructions (from remote label):

If the remote doesn't work, please set the remote custom code as the following steps:

  1. Aim the remote control at the signal receiver on the air conditioner. Press and hold the Power button for 4 seconds to show the current custom code.
  2. Press the TEMP. Up/Down button to change the code (e.g., 01-08, initially set to 01).
  3. Press the Power button again to confirm the code. When the air conditioner reacts, the code is set.

Please check whether the functions work well or not. If not, please repeat the above steps to try other codes. If it still won't work, you may need to order the correct remote control. Please contact us for assistance.
