3. Product Overview

3.1 The Camera

Each PTZ camera features a dual-lens design for comprehensive coverage and detailed zoom. It includes infrared (IR) LEDs and floodlights for versatile night vision, a microphone and speaker for two-way audio, and a detachable mounting bracket for flexible installation.

3.2 The NVR (Network Video Recorder)

The NVR is the central unit of your security system, featuring a 12.1-inch HD screen for direct viewing, built-in WiFi 6 routers for camera connectivity, and a pre-installed 1TB HDD for local storage. It also includes various ports for external connections.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Initial Power-Up

  1. Connect the 12V 2A power adapter to the NVR and plug it into a power outlet.
  2. Connect the 12V 1A power adapters to each camera and plug them into power outlets. The cameras will automatically connect to the NVR via its built-in WiFi 6 routers.
  3. The NVR's integrated 12.1-inch HD LCD screen will display the camera feeds once connected.

4.2 Camera Placement and WiFi Range

For optimal performance, position cameras within the NVR's WiFi range. On open ground without obstacles, cameras can operate up to 1300ft (400m) away. With household obstacles, reliable operation is maintained for hundreds of feet.

4.3 Expanding the System

The 10-channel NVR supports up to 10 cameras. You can add additional XMARTO cameras to expand your surveillance coverage. Refer to the camera's individual manual for pairing instructions.

4.4 Repeater Camera Function

Some cameras can act as repeaters to extend the WiFi range for other cameras, improving signal strength in distant areas. Consult your camera's specifications to determine if it supports this feature and how to enable it.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 AI Auto-Tracking and 10X Zoom

The cameras automatically track moving people, animals, and vehicles. After tracking, cameras can return to a preset home point to maintain consistent coverage. The dual-lens design provides 10X hybrid zoom for both wide-angle monitoring and detailed close-ups.

5.2 Night Vision Modes

Each camera offers dual night vision options: infrared (IR) LEDs for clear black-and-white viewing up to 150ft in complete darkness, and floodlights for color night vision within 20ft.

5.3 Two-Way Audio and Siren Deterrence

Built-in microphones and speakers enable real-time two-way audio communication. The WallPixel App allows one-tap activation of a siren to deter unwanted visitors remotely.

5.4 Remote Viewing and Control

The WallPixel App allows easy multi-device control and simultaneous viewing of all cameras on Android, PC, and Mac devices. The system is also compatible with Alexa for hands-free control.

6. Maintenance

6.1 General Care

  • Keep cameras and NVR clean by wiping with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Ensure all cables are securely connected and free from damage.
  • Avoid exposing the NVR to extreme temperatures or humidity.

6.2 Firmware Updates

Regularly check for firmware updates through the WallPixel App or XMARTO's official website to ensure optimal performance and access to new features.

6.3 Storage Management

The NVR includes a 1TB HDD. The system uses H.265 encoding to optimize storage space. You can configure recording settings (continuous, motion detection) via the NVR interface or WallPixel App. Additional storage options may be supported by the cameras.

7. Troubleshooting

7.1 No Camera Feed on NVR

  • Ensure both the NVR and cameras are powered on.
  • Check if cameras are within the NVR's WiFi range. Relocate cameras or use a repeater camera if necessary.
  • Verify that the cameras are paired with the NVR. Refer to the setup section for pairing instructions.

7.2 Remote Viewing Issues

  • Ensure the NVR is connected to the internet via the Ethernet cable.
