Setup

Operating Instructions

Digital Control Panel

The Nuwave Brio features an intuitive digital control panel for easy operation. Buttons illuminate with ease upon touch. The panel allows you to select pre-programmed functions, adjust temperature and time, and utilize special features like the Smart Probe.

Preheating

Preheating the air fryer ensures even cooking and optimal crispiness. To preheat, select your desired temperature (e.g., 400°F) and press the 'Preheat' button. The air fryer will heat up, and the fan will turn on. This process allows the internal temperature to stabilize before food is added.

Loading the Basket

Pull out the basket using the handle. The basket consists of a main outer pan and an inner mesh basket. The inner mesh basket can be easily removed for cleaning. For best results, arrange food in a single layer to allow for proper air circulation. Avoid overcrowding the basket.

Using Pre-programmed Settings

The air fryer comes with 10 pre-programmed settings for common foods. To use, turn on the air fryer, press 'Menu', and select the corresponding number for your desired food (e.g., '10' for fries, '5' for chicken breast). The air fryer will automatically set the optimal time and temperature. Press 'Start' to begin cooking.

Manual Operation

For custom cooking, you can manually set the temperature and time. Use the '+' and '-' buttons to adjust the temperature (50°F to 400°F in 5°F increments) and time. Press 'Start' to begin cooking. The wattage can also be adjusted between 900, 1500, and 600 watts.

Using the Smart Probe

For precise cooking of meats, insert the integrated digital temperature probe into the thickest part of the food. Set your preferred internal temperature. The air fryer will continuously monitor the food's temperature and automatically stop cooking when the target temperature is reached, displaying "End" on the LED screen.

Using the Removable Divider

The 6-quart basket includes a removable divider, allowing you to cook two different food items simultaneously without mixing flavors. Simply insert the divider into the basket before adding food.

Maintenance & Cleaning

Proper cleaning ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer. The removable non-stick baskets and pans are dishwasher safe for easy cleaning.
