Safety Guidelines

  • Always wear a helmet and appropriate safety gear (knee pads, elbow pads) when riding.
  • Ensure all screws and quick releases are securely tightened before each ride.

Setup and Assembly

Your Hiboy Titan Series Electric Scooter requires minimal assembly. Follow the steps below or refer to the assembly video for a visual guide.

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Verify that all parts listed in the packing list are present and undamaged. Keep the original packaging for potential returns or future storage.

2. Unfolding the Scooter

  1. Locate the hook mechanism near the base of the handlebar stem.
  2. Unlock the hook to release the handlebar stem from its folded position.
  3. Carefully raise the handlebar stem until it locks into the upright position.
  4. Tighten the locking mechanism clockwise until it is secure and cannot move further. Ensure the longer end of the locking block faces downward.

3. Handlebar Installation

  1. Unscrew the handlebar cover using the provided hex wrench.
  2. Carefully feed the control wires through the handlebar stem.
  3. Place the handlebar onto the stem, aligning the holes.
  4. Adjust the angle of the handlebar and display to your preferred riding position.
  5. Secure the handlebar by tightening the screws on the handlebar cover with the hex wrench.

4. Headlight Adjustment

  1. Use the 5mm hex wrench to loosen the screws on the headlight bracket.
  2. Adjust the headlight to a suitable angle for optimal illumination.
  3. Tighten the screws securely to fix the headlight position.

5. Phone Holder Installation

  1. Insert the gasket into the phone holder.
  2. Loosen the bottom screw of the phone holder.
  3. Attach the phone holder to the handlebar and tighten the screw to secure it.

6. Rear Fender Installation

  1. Align the rear fender with the rack above the rear wheel.
  2. Use the 3mm hex wrench and screws to securely fasten the rear fender in place.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off

  • To power on: Long press the power button (usually marked 'M' or a power symbol) on the handlebar.
  • To power off: Long press the power button again.
  • The scooter will automatically enter 'P' (Park) mode if there is no operation for 30 seconds.

2. Display and Modes

The smart LCD display provides real-time information including speed, battery level, and riding mode.

  • Disengaging Park Mode: After powering on, press the brake lever and the 'M' button simultaneously to disengage park mode.
  • Switching Units (MPH/KMH): While powered on, press the power button four times in a row to switch between miles per hour (MPH) and kilometers per hour (KMH).
  • Cycling Display Options: While powered on, short press the 'I' button to cycle through display options such as Total Mileage, Single Trip Mileage, Maximum Speed, Average Speed, Voltage, and Power On Time.
  • Changing Speed Gears: Use the '+' and '-' buttons to switch between three gears (modes):
    • Gear 1: Up to 13 MPH
    • Gear 2: Up to 19 MPH
    • Gear 3: Up to 25 MPH

3. Lighting System

The scooter is equipped with an integrated lighting system for visibility and safety.

  • Headlights: Long-press the '+' button to turn on the dual LED headlights. These can be adjusted for optimal illumination.
  • Tail Light & Brake Light: The rear light functions as a tail light and brightens when brakes are applied.
  • Turn Signals: Use the dedicated switch on the handlebar to activate left or right turn signals.
  • Deck Ambient Lighting: Integrated lights along the deck enhance visibility in low-light conditions.

4. Cruise Control

To activate cruise control, maintain a consistent speed for approximately 3-5 seconds. The scooter will beep, indicating cruise control is active. To deactivate, either press the throttle or apply the brakes.

5. Braking System

The Hiboy Titan is equipped with dual hydraulic disc brakes for strong, consistent stopping power and shorter stopping distances. Always apply brakes smoothly to avoid sudden stops.

6. Folding for Storage/Transport

To fold the scooter for storage or transport:

  1. Loosen the locking mechanism on the handlebar stem by turning it counterclockwise.
  2. Press the release button next to the locking mechanism.
  3. Firmly push the handlebar stem downward until it clicks into the folded position.
  4. Lift the hook upward to secure the handlebar in place, preventing it from unfolding during transport.
