  • Firmware Updates: Check the manufacturer's website for any available firmware updates for your NVR and cameras to ensure optimal performance and security.

6. Troubleshooting

6.1 No Video Display

  • Check Power: Ensure the NVR and all cameras are properly powered on and their power adapters are securely connected.
  • HDMI/VGA Connection: Verify the HDMI or VGA cable connecting the NVR to your monitor/TV is secure and functioning correctly.
  • Camera Pairing: Although pre-paired, ensure cameras are within range and have reconnected to the NVR. If a camera is offline, try restarting it.

6.2 Remote Access Issues

  • Network Connection: Confirm the NVR is connected to your router via Ethernet and your router has an active internet connection.
  • App Status: Check the app's device list to ensure the NVR is online. Restart the app or your mobile device if necessary.
  • Firewall/Router Settings: Ensure your router's firewall settings are not blocking the NVR's connection. Consult your router's manual or ISP for port forwarding if required.

6.3 Motion Detection Not Triggering

  • Sensitivity Settings: Adjust the motion detection sensitivity in the NVR settings or mobile app.
  • Detection Zones: Ensure detection zones are properly configured to cover the desired areas and exclude irrelevant ones.
  • Obstructions: Check for any physical obstructions (e.g., spiderwebs, leaves) on the camera lens that might interfere with detection.
