4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your FOTN WiFi Extender:

1. Power On: Plug the WiFi extender into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the Power indicator light illuminates.
2. WPS Connection (Recommended):
   • Locate the WPS button on your existing wireless router.
   • Press the WPS button on your router.
   • Within 2 minutes, press the WPS button on the FOTN WiFi Extender.
   • The Extender and WiFi indicator lights on the extender should blink and then become solid, indicating a successful connection.

4. Optimal Placement: After successful connection, unplug the extender and move it to a location between your router and the area with weak WiFi signal. Use the smart signal lights on the extender to find the best spot for optimal coverage. A stronger signal light indicates better placement.

Once the FOTN WiFi Extender is set up, it will automatically extend your existing WiFi network. Devices in the extended coverage area can connect to the new extended network name (usually your original network name with "_EXT" or similar appended).

• Connecting Devices: Search for available WiFi networks on your device (smartphone, laptop, etc.). Select the extended network name and enter your original WiFi password.
• Ethernet Port Usage: The extender includes an Ethernet port. You can connect a wired device (e.g., desktop computer, gaming console, smart TV) to this port for a stable wired connection to the extended network.
