Image 5.1: Illustration of the three lighting modes (Day, Night, Always On) and the remote control layout with buttons for PIR time, sensor light mode, and brightness adjustment.
5.1 Working Modes
- Constant Light Mode (Always On): Long press the 'ON' button on the remote control. The light will stay on continuously.
- PIR Induction Mode (Sensor Light Mode): Press the 'ON' button, then press the 'PIR' button on the remote control to activate sensor mode. You can choose between two sub-modes:
- 24-Hour Sensor Mode (DAY): The light will activate upon motion detection throughout the day and night.
- Night-Only Sensor Mode (NIGHT): The light will activate upon motion detection only when ambient light is low (at night).
5.2 Remote Control Functions
- Brightness Adjustment: Use the '50%' and '100%' buttons to adjust the light intensity. The brightness is adjustable from 270 lm to 2700 lm.
- Color Temperature Adjustment: Select between '3000K' (Warm White), '4000K' (Neutral White), and '6500K' (Cool White) to change the light color.
- PIR Time Setting: In PIR Induction Mode, set the duration the light stays on after motion is detected using '10S' (10 seconds), '1min' (1 minute), or '5min' (5 minutes).
- PIR Sensitivity: Adjust the motion sensor's detection distance using 'MEDIUM' or 'HIGH' settings. The maximum detection distance is up to 100 meters.
- Timer Function: The floodlight includes a 3-hour timer function.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your floodlight.
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the glass surface and the motion sensor lens with a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Annually inspect the power cable and connections for any signs of wear, damage, or corrosion. Ensure all mounting screws are tight.
- Remote Control Batteries: Replace the remote control batteries when its range or responsiveness decreases.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your floodlight, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- Light does not turn on:
- Check if the power supply is connected and switched on.
- Ensure the remote control batteries are not depleted.
- Verify the selected operating mode. If in PIR mode, ensure motion is detected and ambient light conditions are met (for Night-Only mode).
- Motion sensor not working or too sensitive:
- Clean the sensor lens to remove any obstructions.
- Adjust the PIR sensitivity setting on the remote control.
- Ensure the sensor is not blocked by objects or facing heat sources that could trigger it.
- Remote control not responding:
- Replace the remote control batteries.
- Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the floodlight's sensor.
- Light flickers or dims unexpectedly:
- Check for loose wiring connections.
- Ensure the power supply is stable.
If the problem persists, please contact customer support.
