4. Setup

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the lamp's built-in lithium battery. Connect the small end of the USB charging cable to the charging port on the lamp's base and the larger end to a DC 5V USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port.

• A charging indicator light (if present) will typically illuminate during charging and turn off or change color when fully charged.
• Charging time may vary.

4.2 Positioning the Lamp

Place the lamp on a flat, stable surface. The lamp features an adjustable arm, allowing you to position the light source as needed for optimal illumination.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Powering On/Off and Light Control

1. Power On: Locate the power switch on the base of the lamp and slide it to the "ON" position.
2. Turn Light On/Off: Gently touch the designated touch control area on the lamp (usually indicated by a symbol or subtle indentation) to turn the light on or off.
3. Adjust Brightness (Dimmable): While the light is on, press and hold the touch control area to smoothly adjust the brightness level. Release your finger when the desired brightness is achieved.

5.2 Bluetooth Speaker Operation

1. Enable Bluetooth: Ensure the lamp is powered on. The lamp's speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt or flashing LED.
2. Pairing: On your audio device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth and search for available devices. Select "Vikye Lamp" (or similar name) from the list to pair.
3. Playback: Once paired, you can play audio from your device, and it will output through the lamp's speaker. Control volume and track selection directly from your paired device.

5.3 Using the Audio Cable (AUX Mode)

For devices without Bluetooth, or if you prefer a wired connection:

1. Connect one end of the provided audio cable (3.5mm jack) to the AUX input port on the lamp's base.
2. Connect the other end of the audio cable to the headphone jack or audio output port of your audio device.
3. The lamp will automatically switch to AUX mode. Play audio from your device.

To clean the lamp, ensure it is powered off and unplugged. Use a soft, dry, lint-free cloth to wipe down the surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or spray directly onto the lamp.
