1. Introduction

This manual provides essential instructions for the safe and efficient operation of your XElectron iProjector 2 Plus Smart Projector. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the projector and retain it for future reference.

The XElectron iProjector 2 Plus is designed to deliver a high-quality visual experience with features such as Native 1080P resolution, 4K HDR support, auto-focus, auto-keystone correction, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity.

2. Safety Information

WARNING: To prevent fire or electric shock, do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture.

  • Do not block ventilation openings. Ensure adequate space around the projector for proper airflow.
  • Do not look directly into the projector lens when the lamp is on. The bright light can cause eye damage.
  • Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  • Unplug the projector during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
  • Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  • Keep the projector away from water, moisture, and heat sources.

4. Product Overview

Familiarize yourself with the projector's components and interfaces.

4.1 Front Panel

  • Projection Lens: Emits the image.
  • Auto-Focus Sensor: Detects distance for automatic focus adjustment.

4.2 Rear Panel

The rear panel typically houses various input/output ports.

  • HDMI Ports (x2): Connect to HDMI-enabled devices such as laptops, gaming consoles, or streaming sticks. One port supports ARC.
  • USB Ports (x2): Connect USB storage devices for media playback or power external devices.
  • AV In: Connect to older analog video sources.
  • Audio Out (3.5mm Jack): Connect external speakers or headphones.
  • Power Input: Connect the power cord.

4.3 Top Panel

The top panel features touch controls for basic functions.

  • Power Button: Turns the projector on/off.
  • Navigation Buttons: For menu navigation.
  • Volume Controls: Adjust audio output.

5. Setup

5.1 Placement

  • Place the projector on a stable, flat surface.
  • Ensure the projector is positioned perpendicular to the projection surface for optimal image geometry. The auto-keystone correction feature will adjust minor angles.
  • Maintain adequate distance from the screen to achieve the desired screen size (up to 300 inches).
  • Avoid placing the projector in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

5.2 Power Connection

  1. Connect the power cord to the projector's power input port.
  2. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall outlet.
  3. The power indicator light will illuminate.

5.3 Initial Power On and Focus

  1. Press the power button on the projector or remote control to turn it on.
  2. The projector will automatically perform auto-focus and auto-keystone correction. Allow a few moments for the image to stabilize and sharpen.
  3. If manual adjustment is needed, use the focus and keystone correction options in the settings menu.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Navigating the Interface

  • Use the arrow buttons on the remote control to navigate through menus and select options.
  • The "OK" button confirms selections.
  • The "Back" button returns to the previous screen.

6.2 Wi-Fi Connection

  1. Go to Settings > Network > Wi-Fi Settings.
  2. Select your desired Wi-Fi network from the list.
  3. Enter the password using the on-screen keyboard and select Connect.
  4. The projector supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands for stable connectivity.

6.3 Bluetooth Connection

The projector features two-way Bluetooth 5.1, allowing it to connect to external speakers or function as a Bluetooth speaker itself.

  1. Connecting to External Bluetooth Speakers:
    • Enable Bluetooth on your external speaker and set it to pairing mode.
    • On the projector, go to Settings > Bluetooth.
    • Select your speaker from the list of available devices to pair.
  2. Using Projector as a Bluetooth Speaker:
    • Select the "Bluetooth Speaker Mode" option in the projector's Bluetooth settings.
    • Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone or other device.
    • Select "XElectron iProjector 2 Plus" from your device's Bluetooth list to connect.

6.4 Connecting External Devices (HDMI, USB, AV)

  • HDMI: Connect your device (e.g., laptop, game console, streaming stick) to one of the HDMI ports. Select the corresponding HDMI input source from the projector's input menu.
  • USB: Insert a USB flash drive or external hard drive into a USB port. The projector's media player will typically prompt you to browse content.
  • AV: Connect older devices using an AV cable. Select the AV input source.

6.5 Screen Mirroring

The projector supports wireless screen mirroring (Airplay, Miracast) for iOS and Android devices.

  1. Ensure your mobile device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  2. Select the "Screen Mirroring" or "Wireless Display" option on the projector's main interface.
  3. On your mobile device, activate screen mirroring (e.g., "Screen Mirroring" on Android, "AirPlay" on iOS) and select the projector from the list of available devices.

7. Maintenance

  • Lens Cleaning: Use a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optical lenses. Do not use abrasive cleaners or excessive force.
  • Dust Filter Cleaning: The projector features a dust-proof engine. Periodically check and clean the removable dust filter at the back of the projector to ensure optimal performance and prevent overheating.
  • Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the projector's exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using liquid cleaners directly on the surface.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, protected from dust and extreme temperatures.

8. Troubleshooting
