5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

  1. Ensure the saw is turned off and the safety lock is engaged.
  2. Align the battery pack with the battery port on the saw.
  3. Slide the battery pack into the port until it clicks securely into place.
  4. To remove, press the battery release button and slide the battery out.

5.2 Blade Installation and Removal

  1. Safety First: Disconnect the battery pack before changing the blade.
  2. Press and hold the spindle lock button to prevent the blade from rotating.
  3. Using the appropriate wrench (not included), loosen the arbor nut by turning it counter-clockwise.
  4. Remove the outer flange and the old blade.
  5. Clean any sawdust or debris from the arbor and flanges.
  6. Place the new 140mm blade onto the arbor, ensuring the rotation direction arrow on the blade matches the arrow on the saw's upper guard.
  7. Replace the outer flange and tighten the arbor nut clockwise with the wrench while holding the spindle lock button. Do not overtighten.

5.3 Adjusting Cutting Depth

The cutting depth can be adjusted to match the thickness of your workpiece.

  1. Ensure the saw is disconnected from the power source (battery removed).
  2. Loosen the depth adjustment lever.
  3. Raise or lower the saw base to achieve the desired cutting depth. The blade should extend approximately 3-6mm below the workpiece.
  4. Tighten the depth adjustment lever securely.

5.4 Adjusting Bevel Angle

The saw can make bevel cuts from 0 to 45 degrees.

  1. Ensure the saw is disconnected from the power source (battery removed).
  2. Loosen the bevel adjustment lever.
  3. Tilt the saw base to the desired angle (indicated on the bevel scale).
  4. Tighten the bevel adjustment lever firmly.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Starting and Stopping the Saw

  1. To start the saw, press the safety lock-off button, then squeeze the trigger switch.
  2. To stop the saw, release the trigger switch.

6.2 Making a Cut

  1. Secure your workpiece firmly to prevent movement during cutting.
  2. Align the saw blade with your cutting line.
  3. Start the saw and allow the blade to reach full speed before contacting the workpiece.
  4. Guide the saw smoothly and steadily through the material. Do not force the saw.
  5. Maintain a firm grip with both hands throughout the cut.
  6. Once the cut is complete, release the trigger and allow the blade to stop completely before lifting the saw from the workpiece.

6.3 Dust Management

The circular saw is equipped with a dust extraction port to help manage sawdust. Connect a suitable vacuum system to this port for cleaner operation.
