1. Introduction

Thank you for choosing CMF Buds Pro 2 Wireless Earbuds. These earbuds are designed to provide a superior audio experience with advanced features such as Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, Hi-Res Audio with LDAC, and Ultra Bass Technology. This manual will guide you through the setup, operation, and maintenance of your new earbuds.

3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your CMF Buds Pro 2. Place the earbuds into the charging case and connect the case to a power source using a USB-C cable. The indicator light on the case will show charging status.

A full charge provides up to 43 hours of total playback with the case, and 10 hours of non-stop music on a single earbud charge. A quick 10-minute charge can provide up to 7 hours of listening time.

3.2 Pairing Your Earbuds

1. Ensure the earbuds are in the charging case and the lid is open.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, computer), enable Bluetooth.
3. Select "CMF Buds Pro 2" from the list of available Bluetooth devices.
4. For Android devices, Google Fast Pair is supported for quick pairing.
5. For Windows devices, Microsoft Swift Pair is supported.
6. The earbuds will automatically connect to the last paired device when removed from the case.

The CMF Buds Pro 2 support Bluetooth 5.3 for stable and efficient wireless communication within a 10-meter range.

3.3 Nothing X App Installation

For full customization and access to all features, download the "Nothing X" app from your device's app store (App Store for iOS, Google Play for Android). The app allows you to:

• Adjust noise cancellation levels (Low, Mid, High, Adaptive).
• Control Ultra Bass Technology 2.0 (five adjustable levels).
• Access custom equalizers and Dirac Opteo sound optimization.
• Perform an Ear Tips Fit Test for optimal sound and ANC performance.

4. Operating Your Earbuds

4.1 Controls

The CMF Buds Pro 2 feature both touch controls on the earbuds and a unique Smart Dial on the charging case for intuitive control.

Earbud Touch Controls:

• Double Tap: Play/Pause music, Answer calls.
• Triple Tap: Voice assistant, Hang up calls/Decline incoming calls.
• Tap & Hold: Noise control (toggle ANC/Transparency).
• Double Tap & Hold: Volume down (customizable).

Smart Dial Controls (on Charging Case):

The Smart Dial offers expanded controls, customizable via the Nothing X app.

• Rotate: Adjust volume (default).
• Press: Play/Pause, Switch Noise Cancellation mode, Activate Voice Assistant, Skip tracks, Answer/Hang up calls, Mute/Unmute microphone, Turn Low Lag Mode On/Off.
• Double Press & Hold: Lock/Unlock Smart Dial (not customizable).

4.2 Noise Cancellation and Transparency

Experience advanced Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) of up to 50 dB, effectively silencing a wide range of ambient sounds. The earbuds also feature Smart Active Noise Cancellation, which automatically detects and compensates for noise leakage, ensuring optimal noise reduction.

Switch to Transparency mode to stay aware of your surroundings without removing the earbuds. Both modes can be adjusted via the Nothing X app.

4.4 Call Features
