5.5. General Cooking Tips
- Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes before adding food.
- Shaking: For even cooking and crispiness, shake the baskets halfway through the cooking time, especially for smaller items like fries or nuggets. The appliance will pause when a basket is removed and resume when reinserted.
- Overfilling: Do not overfill the baskets. Overfilling can prevent food from cooking evenly and becoming crispy. Cook in smaller batches if necessary.
- Oil: While the air fryer uses significantly less oil, a light spray of oil on some foods can enhance crispiness and flavor.
- Monitoring: Use the viewing window and internal light (💡 button) to monitor cooking progress without interrupting the cycle.

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your air fryer.

- Cleaning Baskets and Trays: The removable cooking baskets and crisper trays are dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth. The non-stick coating is designed for easy cleaning.
- Cleaning the Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. If necessary, use a mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or metal scouring pads.
- Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
- Heating Element: If food residue is stuck to the heating element, gently remove it with a soft brush after the appliance has cooled.
- Storage: Ensure all parts are clean and dry before storing the air fryer in a cool, dry place.
