Product Overview

The Creality K1 SE 3D Printer is an advanced additive manufacturing device designed for high-speed and high-quality 3D printing. It features a lightweight and agile CoreXY system, enabling a maximum printing speed of 600 mm/s and an acceleration of 20000 mm/s². Setup and Initial Use

The Creality K1 SE is designed for quick setup. It arrives pre-assembled and pre-tuned, significantly reducing the time from unboxing to first print. Follow these steps for initial setup:

  1. Unboxing: Carefully remove the printer from its packaging. Ensure all protective materials are removed.
  2. Power Connection: Connect the power cable to the printer and a suitable power outlet.
  3. Initial Calibration: The printer features one-tap auto-calibration. This process utilizes CR Touch for automatic leveling and Z-offset adjustment, ensuring a perfect first layer without manual calibration paper.
  4. Filament Loading: Load your desired filament into the dual-gear direct extruder. The extruder is designed for precise feeding.
  5. Software Setup: Install Creality Print 5.0 slicing software on your computer. This software provides a user-friendly interface and supports over 40 kinds of filament presets.

High-Speed Printing with CoreXY

The CoreXY motion system allows for rapid print speeds, reaching up to 600 mm/s with an acceleration of 20000 mm/s². For optimal print quality, a recommended speed of 300 mm/s is suggested.

Advanced Extrusion System

The K1 SE utilizes a robust dual-gear direct extruder, ensuring precise filament feeding and minimizing slacking. This system is compatible with a wide range of filaments, including standard PLA, ABS, and flexible TPU.

High-Performance Hotend and Nozzle

The 60W ceramic heater encircles the hotend, allowing it to reach 300°C in just 75 seconds, suitable for high-temperature filaments like ABS. The durable steel-tipped copper nozzle, integrated with a titanium alloy heatbreak, prevents heat-creep and supports convenient one-hand swapping.

Automated Calibration

The K1 SE simplifies the calibration process with one-tap auto-calibration. This includes auto-leveling and auto Z-offset, ensuring a perfect first layer and reducing setup time.

Anti-Vibration Technology

Equipped with an anti-vibration algorithm and hardware, including a G-sensor for input shaping, the printer actively cancels out resonance. This, combined with a dynamically balanced part cooling fan, minimizes vibrations, ringing, and surface artifacts, leading to smoother print quality.

Robust Construction and Open-Source Design

The K1 SE features a super rigid frame constructed from integrated die-cast parts, reinforced with corner gussets and crossbeams. This ensures stable operation with minimal shaking. The open-source Creality OS, based on Klipper, allows for advanced functions like linear advance and input shaping, offering customization and community engagement. The hardware architecture also supports modifications, such as adding 3D-printed side panels, a side spool holder, or connecting a USB webcam via reserved ports.
