The Hermitlux IM2S3 Induction Cooktop is designed for integrated installation into a countertop. Ensure proper dimensions and electrical connections.

Operating Instructions

Turning On/Off

  1. Plug the cooktop into a suitable power outlet.
  2. Touch the Power On/Off button to turn on the cooktop. The display will show "—".
  3. To turn off, touch the Power On/Off button again.

Adjusting Power Levels

The cooktop offers 9 heating levels for precise temperature control.

  1. Place compatible cookware on the desired cooking zone.
  2. Select the cooking zone by touching its corresponding control.
  3. Adjust the power level from 1 to 9 using the slider or '+' / '-' buttons.

Power Distribution

The cooktop has a total power output of 3500W, distributed between the two zones.

Timer Function

Set a cooking timer for up to 99 minutes.

  1. Select the desired cooking zone.
  2. Touch the Timer button.
  3. Use the '+' / '-' buttons to set the desired cooking time.
  4. The cooktop will automatically turn off the selected zone when the timer expires.

Stop&Go Function

The Stop&Go function allows you to pause cooking and resume it later without losing your settings.

  1. During cooking, touch the Stop&Go button to pause. The display will flash.
  2. Touch the Stop&Go button again to resume cooking with the previous settings.

Child Lock

Activate the child lock to prevent accidental operation, especially by children.

  1. With the cooktop on, touch and hold the Child Lock button for a few seconds.
  2. The controls will be locked. To unlock, touch and hold the Child Lock button again.

Compatible Cookware

Induction cooktops require cookware made of ferromagnetic materials. Incompatible cookware will cause the appliance to shut off automatically after 1 minute.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your cooktop, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
