5. Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your drywall sander before use.

1. Attach the Extension Pole: Connect the extension pole to the main body of the sander. Ensure it clicks securely into place. The pole allows adjustment from 4.1 feet to 5.5 feet.
2. Connect the Dust Collection Hose: Securely attach one end of the extension hose to the dust outlet on the sander head.
3. Attach the Dust Collection Bag: Connect the other end of the extension hose to the inlet of the dust collection bag. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent dust leakage.
4. Install Sanding Discs: The sander uses 12-inch sanding discs. Align the holes on the sanding disc with the holes on the sanding pad for optimal dust extraction. Press firmly to secure the disc to the hook-and-loop pad.

6. Operating Instructions

Proper operation ensures effective sanding and extends the life of your tool.

1. Power Connection: Plug the sander into a suitable power outlet (120V).
2. Adjust Speed: Use the variable speed dial to select your desired RPM (1000-2100 RPM). Start with a lower speed for delicate work and increase as needed.
3. Turn On: Press the ON/OFF switch to start the sander. You can use the speed lock button for continuous operation.
4. Engage LED Light: Activate the LED light switch for improved visibility, especially in poorly lit areas.
5. Sanding Technique: Apply light, even pressure to the sanding surface. Move the sander in smooth, overlapping passes. Avoid pressing too hard, as this can cause uneven sanding and damage the surface or the tool.
6. Dust Collection: The automatic dust collection system will activate with the sander, drawing dust into the collection bag. Regularly check and empty the dust bag.

• Cleaning: After each use, unplug the sander and clean the sanding pad and housing with a dry cloth. Remove any dust buildup from the ventilation openings.

• Carbon Brush Replacement: The carbon brushes are wear parts. Replace them when they are worn down to their limit. Refer to the included carbon brushes for replacement.
