3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection

3.2 Battery Installation
- Ensure the power station is turned off.
- Open the battery compartments located on the sides of the unit.
- Insert fully charged RYOBI 18V ONE+ batteries into the slots. The unit can accommodate up to eight batteries. For optimal performance, it is recommended to use batteries of similar charge levels and capacities.
- Close the battery compartment covers securely.

3.3 Initial Power On
Press the main power button on the control panel. The LCD screen will illuminate, displaying battery levels and system status. The unit is now ready for operation.

4.1 Connecting Devices
The power station offers various output options:
- AC Outlets: Plug in standard household appliances and tools. Ensure the total wattage does not exceed the unit's running watt capacity (1800W).
- USB-A Ports: Connect and charge USB-powered devices such as smartphones and tablets.

4.2 Monitoring with GENCONTROL™ App
The RYOBI GENCONTROL™ app allows you to monitor and control your power station remotely via Bluetooth.
- Download the RYOBI GENCONTROL™ app from your device's app store.
- Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Turn on the power station.
- Open the app and follow the on-screen instructions to pair your device with the power station.
- Once connected, you can view battery levels, output wattage, and remotely turn AC power on/off.

4.3 Charging Batteries (with optional adaptor)
The power station can charge 18V ONE+ batteries using a compatible charging adaptor (sold separately). Connect the adaptor to the designated charging port on the power station and plug it into a wall outlet. The LCD screen will indicate charging status.
4.4 Solar Charging (with optional solar panel)
For convenient portable power, the unit is solar charging capable. Connect a compatible solar panel (sold separately) to the designated solar input port. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum sunlight. The LCD screen will show charging progress.
