When an SOS button's battery is low, its performance may degrade. To replace the battery:

  1. Carefully open the back cover of the SOS button (you may need a small screwdriver or coin).
  2. Remove the old coin cell battery (e.g., CR2032).
  3. Insert a new battery with the correct polarity (+ side up).
  4. Close the back cover securely.
  5. Test the button to ensure it still triggers the receiver and app notifications.

7.3 Wi-Fi Connection Stability

Ensure the receiver is always within range of a stable 2.4GHz Wi-Fi signal. Obstacles like thick walls can reduce signal strength. Periodically check the Wi-Fi status indicator on the receiver.
