5.2 Power Connection
- Connect the power adapter to the DC input port on the back of the dehumidifier.
- Plug the power adapter into a standard 120VAC electrical outlet.
5.3 Water Tank Operation (Manual Drainage)
If you choose to use the water tank for collection:
- Ensure the water tank is properly inserted into the dehumidifier.
- Verify the white float switch is correctly placed just above the circular indentation inside the tank. This is crucial for the automatic shut-off function.

5.4 Continuous Drainage Setup
For continuous operation without manually emptying the tank, use the included drain hose:
- First, remove the water tank from the dehumidifier.
- Locate the drainage port on the back of the dehumidifier.
- Firmly plug the black drainage connector of the hose onto the connector on the dehumidifier.
- Route the other end of the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., sink, floor drain, larger container). Ensure the hose is sloped downwards to allow gravity drainage.
- Use the provided hose clips to secure the drainage hose and maintain a proper route.
- Reinsert the water tank into the dehumidifier. The unit will now drain continuously through the hose.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your dehumidifier, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Dehumidifier does not turn on. | No power supply. Power adapter not connected properly. | Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the unit and a working electrical outlet. Check the outlet with another device. |
| Dehumidifier is running but not collecting water. | Room temperature or humidity is too low. Air inlets/outlets are blocked. Continuous drain hose is connected and draining. | The unit works best in temperatures above 41°F (5°C) and humidity above 45% RH. Ensure proper airflow around the unit. If the drain hose is connected, water will bypass the tank. |
| Red indicator light is on. | Water tank is full. Water tank is not properly inserted. Float switch is misplaced. | Empty the water tank. Ensure the water tank is fully and correctly inserted. Verify the float switch is in its correct position (refer to Section 5.3). |
| Unusual noise during operation. | Unit is not on a level surface. Obstruction in the fan. | Place the dehumidifier on a stable, level surface. Turn off and unplug the unit, then check for any obstructions in the air grilles. |
