- Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving an appliance containing hot oil or other hot liquids.

Setup and First Use
Unpacking
- Carefully remove all packaging materials from the toaster and coffee maker.
- Ensure all components are present and undamaged.
- Retain packaging for future storage or transport if needed.
Initial Cleaning
- Toaster: Wipe the exterior with a damp cloth. Remove and clean the crumb tray.
- Coffee Maker: Wash the glass carafe, lid, and reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
- Before first use, run two full cycles of plain water through the coffee maker without coffee grounds to clean the internal components.
Placement
- Place both appliances on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface, away from the edge of the counter.
- Ensure adequate ventilation around both units.
Operating the Toaster
- Plug In: Connect the toaster to a suitable electrical outlet.
- Insert Bread: Place slices of bread, bagels, or waffles into the toasting slots. The self-centering function will position them correctly.
- Select Browning Level: Turn the browning control dial to your desired setting (1 for light, 6 for dark).
- Lower Lever: Press the lever down until it locks into place. The toaster will begin toasting.
- Use Function Buttons (Optional):
- Defrost: Press this button after lowering the lever for frozen items.
- Bagel: Press this button after lowering the lever for bagels (toasts the cut side, warms the other).
- Cancel: Press this button at any time to stop the toasting cycle and eject the items.
- Ejection: Once the toasting cycle is complete, the items will automatically eject.

Operating the Coffee Maker
- Fill Water Reservoir: Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with fresh, cold water up to the desired level indicated on the side. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Add Coffee Grounds: Place the reusable filter into the filter basket, or insert a paper filter. Add the desired amount of ground coffee. Close the lid securely.
- Place Carafe: Ensure the glass carafe is correctly positioned on the warming plate.
- Plug In: Connect the coffee maker to a suitable electrical outlet. The digital clock will display.
- Set Clock (Optional):
- Press the "HOUR" button to set the hour.
- Press the "MINUTE" button to set the minute.
- Select Brew Strength (Optional): Press the "STRENGTH" button to cycle through available brew strength options (e.g., Regular, Bold).
- Start Brewing Immediately: Press the "ON/OFF" button. The indicator light will illuminate, and brewing will begin.
- Program Delay Brew (Optional):
- Press the "PROGRAM" button.
- Use "HOUR" and "MINUTE" buttons to set the desired start time.
- Press "DELAY BREW" button to activate. The indicator light will illuminate, and the coffee maker will start brewing at the programmed time.
- Anti-Drip Function: The coffee maker features a 30-second anti-drip function, allowing you to temporarily remove the carafe during brewing to pour a cup. Return the carafe within 30 seconds to prevent overflow.
- Keep Warm Function: After brewing, the warming plate will keep the coffee warm for a period (typically 120 minutes) before automatically shutting off.

Maintenance and Cleaning
Always unplug both appliances from the power outlet and allow them to cool completely before cleaning.
Toaster Cleaning
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
- Crumb Tray: Pull out the crumb tray from the bottom of the toaster. Empty crumbs and wipe the tray clean with a damp cloth. Ensure it is dry before reinserting.
- Do not insert any objects into the toasting slots.

Coffee Maker Cleaning
- Carafe and Filter Basket: Wash the glass carafe, its lid, and the reusable filter basket in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry. These parts are generally top-rack dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended for longevity.
- Exterior: Wipe the exterior of the coffee maker with a soft, damp cloth.
- Descaling: Depending on water hardness, descale the coffee maker every 2-4 weeks.
- Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of white vinegar and water (1:2 ratio).
- Run a full brew cycle.
- After the cycle, let the mixture sit in the carafe for 15-20 minutes.
- Discard the mixture and run 2-3 cycles with clean water to rinse thoroughly.
