The WING Rack utilizes a "Source" paradigm, allowing you to focus on the audio source rather than specific channels. Sources can be assigned to multiple channels, providing flexible routing and processing. Access the Source menu from the main screen to configure and manage your audio inputs.

Channel Processing

Each channel on the WING Rack offers comprehensive processing capabilities, including:

  • Gain Control: Adjust input levels for optimal signal-to-noise ratio.
  • Equalization (EQ): Shape the tonal characteristics of your audio.
  • Dynamics: Apply compression, gating, and expansion to control dynamic range.
  • Effects: Access 16 stereo digital FX processors for reverb, delay, modulation, and more.
  • Routing: Assign channels to buses, matrices, and main outputs.

Recording and Playback

The WING Rack supports direct recording to dual SD cards (up to 64 channels) and acts as a 48-in/48-out USB audio interface for recording to a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) on your computer.

  • SD Card Recording: Insert two SD cards into the dedicated slots. Navigate to the recording section on the touchscreen to arm tracks and start recording.
  • USB Audio: Ensure the WING Rack is connected to your computer via USB. Select the WING Rack as your audio interface in your DAW settings.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regularly clean the exterior of the WING Rack with a soft, dry cloth. For the touchscreen, use a microfiber cloth specifically designed for electronic displays. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or waxes, as these can damage the finish or screen.
