Installation Guidelines
1. Isofix and Top Tether Installation
The Lorelli Phoenix car seat utilizes the Isofix system and a Top Tether strap for secure installation. This method minimizes installation errors and provides a firm connection to the vehicle's chassis.
- Locate the Isofix anchor points in your vehicle (usually between the seat back and cushion).
- Extend the Isofix connectors from the car seat base and push them onto the vehicle's anchor points until they click securely into place. Indicators on the connectors should turn green.
- Route the Top Tether strap over the back of the vehicle seat and attach the hook to the designated Top Tether anchor point in your vehicle (refer to your vehicle's manual for location).
- Tighten the Top Tether strap until it is taut, removing any slack.
- Ensure the car seat is firmly installed by attempting to move it from side to side and front to back. There should be minimal movement.

2. 360-Degree Rotation
The car seat features a 360-degree rotating base for convenience. To rotate the seat:
- Locate the rotation lever or button on the base of the car seat.
- Press or pull the lever/button and rotate the seat to the desired position (e.g., facing the car door for easy child placement, or rear/forward-facing for travel).
- Ensure the seat locks securely into place in the chosen travel direction before driving.
3. Rear-Facing (RWF) and Forward-Facing (FF) Positions
The car seat supports both rear-facing and forward-facing orientations based on your child's height:
- Rear-Facing (RWF): For children from 40 cm to 105 cm in height. This position offers maximum safety for infants and toddlers.
- Forward-Facing (FF): For children from 76 cm to 150 cm in height. This position is suitable for older toddlers and children.
Always ensure the car seat is correctly oriented for your child's height and age according to safety regulations.

- Locate the headrest adjustment lever, typically at the top or back of the headrest.

- Press or pull the lever and tilt the seat to the desired recline angle.
- Ensure the seat locks firmly into the chosen recline position before use.
3. Soft Inserts and Cushions
The car seat includes soft inserts and cushions for enhanced comfort and support, especially for newborns and smaller children.
- Newborn Pad: Use the soft pad for newborns (40-75 cm) to provide proper head and body support. Remove it when your child outgrows it.
- Soft Body Cushion: Provides additional comfort and support for the child's torso.
- Soft Head Cushion: Offers extra padding and support for the child's head.

4. 5-Point Safety Harness
The 5-point harness system secures your child safely in the seat.
- Place your child in the car seat.
- Bring the two shoulder straps over your child's shoulders and connect the buckles into the central buckle.
- Pull the adjustment strap at the front of the seat to tighten the harness until it is snug against your child's body. You should not be able to pinch any slack in the harness straps at the shoulder.
- To loosen the harness, press the release button (usually located near the adjustment strap) and pull the shoulder straps forward.
- The car seat may feature a sound alarm that activates if the buckle is unfastened, providing an additional safety alert.
Care and Cleaning
Regular cleaning and maintenance will prolong the life of your car seat.
- Fabric Covers: The fabric covers are removable for cleaning. Refer to the care label on the fabric for specific washing instructions. Typically, they can be hand-washed or machine-washed on a gentle cycle with mild detergent and air-dried. Do not tumble dry or iron.
- Plastic Parts: Wipe plastic parts with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Harness System: Wipe the harness straps with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the buckle in water or use lubricants, as this may affect its performance.
- Storage: When not in use, store the car seat in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Common Issues
- Car seat feels loose after installation: Recheck the Isofix connectors and Top Tether strap to ensure they are securely fastened and tightened. Push down firmly on the car seat while tightening the Top Tether.
- Harness straps are difficult to adjust: Ensure the harness release button is fully pressed when loosening, and that there are no twists in the straps. Check for any obstructions.
- Seat rotation is stiff: Ensure the rotation lever is fully engaged and there are no objects obstructing the rotation mechanism. The seat should be empty when rotating.
- Buckle alarm sounds unexpectedly: Verify that the buckle is fully engaged and clicked into place. Check for any debris preventing a secure connection.
