4. Setup and First Use

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the air fryer.
  2. Cleaning: Wash the fry basket and crisper tray with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Wipe the inside and outside of the main unit with a damp cloth. Ensure all parts are completely dry before use.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, level, heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate air circulation around the unit. Do not place it directly against a wall or under cabinets.
  4. Pre-heating (Optional but Recommended): For the first use, it is recommended to run the air fryer empty for about 10-15 minutes at 350°F (175°C) to eliminate any manufacturing odors. A slight odor may be present during this initial use; this is normal.

Using Preset Functions:

The air fryer includes 8 preset recipes for common foods:

  1. Place food in the fry basket.
  2. Press the Power button to turn on the air fryer.
  3. Press the Menu button repeatedly to select the desired preset. The corresponding icon will illuminate.
  4. The air fryer will automatically set the recommended time and temperature for the selected preset. You can adjust these manually using the Temp +/- and Time +/- buttons if needed.
  5. Press the Power button again to start cooking.

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Basket and Tray: The nonstick-coated fry basket and crisper tray are dishwasher-safe. Alternatively, wash them with hot water, dish soap, and a non-abrasive sponge. Avoid metal utensils or abrasive cleaning materials that can damage the nonstick coating.
  3. Main Unit: Wipe the exterior of the air fryer with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid. Clean the interior with a damp cloth and mild detergent if necessary, ensuring it is dry before next use.
