4. Setup and Basic Operation

4.1 Initial Setup

  1. Plug the KETOTEK KT3300 into a standard EU power outlet (100~250V AC).
  2. Connect the humidity probe to the designated port on the controller.
  3. Place the humidity probe in the area where humidity needs to be monitored and controlled.
  4. Plug your humidifier or dehumidifier into the power outlet on the KT3300.

4.2 Setting Humidity Control (M1 HC Mode)

This mode allows you to set a specific humidity range for humidification or dehumidification.

  1. Press the M button to enter M1 HC mode.
  2. Press the OK button to set the Start Humidity. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the value.
  3. Press the OK button again to set the Stop Humidity. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the value.
  4. Press the M button to save your settings.

5. Advanced Operating Modes (Countdown Function)

The KT3300 offers countdown timer functions to activate or deactivate humidity control after a set period.

5.1 M2 HC+CD OFF Mode (Countdown to Turn Off)

In this mode, humidity control operates normally, but it will automatically turn off after the set countdown period expires.

  1. Press the M button repeatedly until M2 HC+CD OFF is displayed.
  2. Press OK to set the countdown time (hours and minutes). Use + or - to adjust.
  3. Press OK to set the Start Humidity and Stop Humidity as described in Section 4.2.
  4. Press M to save settings and start the countdown.

5.2 M3 HC+CD ON Mode (Countdown to Turn On)

In this mode, humidity control will remain off until the set countdown period expires, after which it will activate and operate according to the set humidity range.

  1. Press the M button repeatedly until M3 HC+CD ON is displayed.
  2. Press OK to set the countdown time (hours and minutes). Use + or - to adjust.
  3. Press OK to set the Start Humidity and Stop Humidity as described in Section 4.2.
  4. Press M to save settings and start the countdown.

6. Additional Functions

6.1 Humidity Calibration

If you suspect the humidity readings are inaccurate, you can calibrate the device:

  1. With the device powered on, press and hold the OK button for 3 seconds to enter the parameter settings.
  2. Use the M button to navigate to the humidity calibration parameter (usually indicated by a specific code in the manual, e.g., 'HC').
  3. Use the + or - buttons to adjust the calibration value. A positive value increases the displayed humidity, a negative value decreases it.
  4. Press M to save and exit.

6.2 Reset Function

To restore the device to its factory default settings:

  1. With the device powered on, press and hold the Return/Reset button for 3 seconds.
  2. The display will show a confirmation message or reset directly.

6.3 Power-off Data Saving

The KT3300 automatically saves all your settings in case of a power outage, ensuring that your preferred humidity control parameters are retained when power is restored.
