2. Important Safety Information

Please read all instructions carefully before using the Nuwave Bravo Pro Smart Oven. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

  • Always place the appliance on a stable, heat-resistant surface, away from walls and other appliances to allow for proper ventilation.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces. Use oven mitts or pot holders when handling hot materials.

4. Setup

4.1 Unpacking and Initial Placement

  1. Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or transport.
  2. Place the oven on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 6 inches of clearance on all sides and above the oven for proper air circulation.
  3. Do not place the oven near flammable materials or heat sources.

4.2 Before First Use

  1. Wash the Air Fry Basket, Enamel Baking Pan, Heavy-Duty Cooking Rack, and Crumb Tray with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry completely.
  2. Wipe the interior and exterior of the oven with a damp cloth.
  3. Insert the Crumb Tray into the bottom slot of the oven.
  4. Plug the power cord into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Control Panel Overview

The Nuwave Bravo Pro Smart Oven features an intuitive digital display and control dial for easy operation.

  • Digital Display: Shows temperature, time, and selected function.
  • ON/OFF Button: Powers the unit on or off.
  • MENU Button: Cycles through the 10 pre-programmed presets.
  • TEMP Button: Allows adjustment of cooking temperature.
  • TIME Button: Allows adjustment of cooking time.
  • PREHEAT Button: Initiates the preheat function.
  • TOP/BTM Button: Adjusts the ratio of top and bottom heating elements.

5.3 General Operation Steps

  1. Place food on the appropriate accessory (Air Fry Basket, Baking Pan, or Cooking Rack) and insert into the desired rack position.
  2. Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the oven.
  3. Press the MENU button repeatedly to select a desired cooking function, or manually set temperature and time.
  4. Use the TEMP button and Control Dial to adjust temperature (50°F to 450°F in 5°F increments).
  5. Use the TIME button and Control Dial to adjust cooking time.
  6. For functions requiring preheating, press the PREHEAT button. The oven will beep when preheating is complete.
  7. Press the Control Dial to start cooking.
  8. To adjust fan speed, press the FAN button and use the Control Dial to select from 0 to 3 speeds.
  9. To customize heating, press the TOP/BTM button and use the Control Dial to adjust the power ratio between top and bottom heating elements (0-100%).
  10. When cooking is complete, the oven will beep and turn off automatically.

6. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Nuwave Bravo Pro Smart Oven.

6.1 General Cleaning

  1. Always unplug the oven from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Remove the Crumb Tray and discard any crumbs.
  3. Wash the Air Fry Basket, Enamel Baking Pan, Heavy-Duty Cooking Rack, and Crumb Tray with warm, soapy water. These accessories are dishwasher-safe.
  4. For stubborn food residue, soak the accessories in warm, soapy water before cleaning.
  5. Wipe the interior walls of the oven with a damp cloth and mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads that could damage the non-stick coating.
