2. Safety Information

Please read all safety instructions carefully before operating the UBPET C20. Failure to follow these instructions may result in injury or damage to the product.

• The C20 is suitable for cats from 3.3 pounds (1.5kg) to 17.6 pounds (8kg). It is not recommended for cats under 6 months of age.
• The patented integrated structure of the litter tray and waste bin is designed to reduce the risk of cat entrapment to 0%.
• The unit is equipped with gravity sensors that will automatically stop the cleaning cycle if weight is detected inside the drum.
• Ensure the power cord is not chewed by pets.
• Do not immerse the base unit in water. Only the drum is washable.

4. Setup Guide

4.1 Initial Preparation

Before first use, ensure all packaging materials are removed and the unit is assembled correctly.

1. Remove the litter cleaning board from inside the drum. This board is typically secured with blue tape for shipping.
2. Unlock the drum shaft lock by rotating the yellow lever on the side.
3. Carefully take out the entire drum from the base.
4. Remove the isolated pad from the base.
5. Place the drum back into the base, ensuring the drum's rotating shaft is correctly seated in the slot of the base bracket. Verify that the drum cannot rotate significantly after being placed.
6. Lock the drum shaft lock by rotating the yellow lever back into its original position.
7. Insert the side cover, ensuring the pegs on the side cover fit into the holes on the base bracket.
8. Plug in the litter box. The drum will rotate a full circle automatically as part of its self-check. Wait for it to return to the Home position; the unit is then ready for use.

4.2 APP Pairing

To unlock the full smart features of your UBPET C20, download the companion app and pair your device.

1. Scan the QR code located on the right side of the base to download the UBPET app.
2. Sign up for an account as instructed within the app.
3. In the app, tap "Tap here to add device" or the "+" icon.
4. On the litter box, hold the "Clean" button for 3 seconds until the blue indicator light starts flashing. This puts the litter box into pairing mode.
5. Confirm "Above steps completed" in the app and proceed to "Next".
6. Select the serial number of your device from the list (check the QR code on the base if unsure) and tap "Next".
7. Enter your Wi-Fi password (2.4GHz network only) and tap "Next".
8. Wait for the device to connect. Once "Device added successfully" appears, tap "Use Now".

The UBPET C20 offers various cleaning modes and monitoring features through its intuitive app interface.

5.1 Cleaning Modes

• Automatic Cleaning: The litter box will automatically clean after your cat leaves the tray. You can adjust the delay time in the app.
• Scheduled Cleaning: Set specific times for cleaning cycles to run.
• Manual Cleaning: Press the "Clean" button on the unit or in the app to initiate a cleaning cycle immediately.
• Do-Not-Disturb Mode: Configure periods when the unit should not perform cleaning cycles, ideal for nighttime.

5.2 Cat Data Monitoring

The app provides real-time data on your cat's usage, including weight and frequency of use. This can help you monitor your cat's health. The system supports tracking for up to 6 cats, though accuracy may vary for cats of similar weight.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and hygiene of your UBPET C20.

6.1 Emptying the Cat Litter

The waste bin should be emptied regularly depending on the number of cats and their usage frequency.

1. Open the waste bin compartment.
2. Remove the full bin liner and replace it with a new one. Small household rubbish bags can be used.
3. Close the waste bin compartment securely.
4. Ensure the litter cleaning board is properly inserted into the gaps above the filter.
5. Press the "Clean" button to initiate a cleaning cycle and distribute the fresh litter.

6.2 Cleaning the Litter Tray

For thorough cleaning, the drum can be removed and washed.

1. Make sure to empty the litter and remove the bin liner first.
2. Unplug the litter box from the power outlet.
3. Remove the side cover and unlock the drum shaft lock as described in the Setup Guide.
4. Take out the drum. The entire drum is washable with water.
5. Important: Do not rinse the base or immerse it in water. You can only wipe the base with a soft, damp cloth.
6. Flush the drum with water.
7. Before pouring out the water from the drum, open the waste bin cover first to allow water to flow out easily.
8. Wipe the waste bin container with a dry cloth.
9. Wipe the water inside the drum with a dry cloth.
10. After wiping, set the drum upright in a ventilated area to air dry completely before reassembly.
11. Once the drum is dried, put it back in place following the reassembly steps from the Setup Guide.

7. Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your UBPET C20, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:

• Unit not responding: Ensure the unit is properly plugged in and the power outlet is functional. Check if any objects are obstructing the drum's movement.
• Cleaning cycle stops unexpectedly: This is often due to the safety gravity sensor being triggered. Ensure no cat or object is inside the drum during operation.
• Odor persists: Verify that the deodorizer is correctly installed and not expired. Ensure the waste bin is sealed properly and emptied regularly.
• App connectivity issues: Ensure your Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz. Restart the litter box and your router. Re-attempt the APP pairing process.
• Litter not sifting properly: Ensure you are using cat litter with a particle length of less than 0.4 inches. Do not overfill the litter tray.
