Operating Instructions
1. Using the Hob Burners
- Ignition: Push and turn the desired burner knob counter-clockwise to the maximum flame setting. Simultaneously press the push-button ignition. Hold the knob for a few seconds after the flame ignites to allow the flame failure device to engage.
- Flame Adjustment: Once lit, adjust the flame size by turning the knob between the maximum and minimum settings.
- Flame Failure Device: Each hob burner is equipped with a flame failure device that automatically cuts off the gas supply if the flame accidentally extinguishes. If a burner does not stay lit, ensure you are holding the knob long enough during ignition.
- Turning Off: Turn the knob clockwise to the 'OFF' position.
2. Using the Gas Oven (Bake & Grill)
- Preheating: Open the oven door slightly. Push and turn the oven control knob to the desired temperature. Press the push-button ignition to light the oven burner. Hold the knob for a few seconds to allow the flame failure device to engage. Close the oven door and allow the oven to preheat to the set temperature. The oven lamp will illuminate the interior.
- Temperature Control: The oven features a thermostat to maintain the set temperature.
- Grilling: For grilling, select the grill function on the oven knob (if separate) or use the highest temperature setting. Position food on the wire grid closer to the top heating element.
- Chicken Turnspit: To use the chicken turnspit, secure the chicken onto the spit rod. Insert the rod into the designated motor and support brackets inside the oven. Ensure the turnspit rotates freely before closing the oven door.
- Turning Off: Turn the oven control knob to the 'OFF' position.
