Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning and maintenance will ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your coffee maker.

Daily Cleaning:

Descaling (Monthly or as needed):

Mineral deposits from water can build up over time, affecting performance. Descale your coffee maker regularly, especially if you have hard water.

  1. Prepare Solution: Mix 1 part white vinegar with 2 parts water. Fill the water reservoir with this solution.
  2. Run Half Cycle: Place an empty mug on the drip tray. Press the brew button and allow half of the solution to brew through.
  3. Soak: Turn off the coffee maker and let it sit for at least 30 minutes to allow the solution to work on the mineral deposits.
  4. Complete Cycle: Turn the coffee maker back on and allow the remaining solution to brew through. Discard the solution.
  5. Rinse Cycles: Fill the water reservoir with fresh, clean water and run 2-3 full brewing cycles to rinse out any remaining vinegar taste or odor. Discard the water after each cycle.
