Setup

1. Initial Charging:

Before first use, fully charge the laser level. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the charging port on the device and to a suitable USB power source. The battery indicator will show charging status. A full charge provides up to 7-14 hours of continuous use, depending on the model and mode.

2. Attaching the Magnetic Bracket:

The magnetic bracket can be attached to the bottom of the laser level. This allows for secure mounting on metallic surfaces, providing flexibility in positioning the device for various tasks.

Operating Instructions

1. Powering On/Off:

To power on the device, press and hold the power button located on the top. To power off, press and hold the power button again.

2. Self-Leveling Mode:

When powered on, the device defaults to self-leveling mode. If the device is placed on an uneven surface, the laser lines will blink rapidly to indicate it is outside its self-leveling range. Adjust the device's position until the laser lines become steady, indicating it is level.

3. Line Modes (D2 PLUS):

In self-leveling mode, short press the power button to cycle through the available line projection modes:

• Horizontal Line: Projects a single horizontal line (120° angle).
• Vertical Line: Projects a single vertical line (130° angle).
• Cross Lines: Projects both horizontal and vertical lines simultaneously.

4. Line Modes with Plumb Points (D2 APEX):

The D2 APEX model offers enhanced line modes including plumb points:

• Horizontal Line with Plumb Points: Projects a horizontal line (170° angle) along with top and bottom plumb points.
• Vertical Line: Projects a single vertical line (130° angle).
• Cross Lines with Plumb Points: Projects both horizontal and vertical lines with top and bottom plumb points.

5. LED Smart Display (D2 APEX only):

The D2 APEX features an LED display that provides real-time information:

• Battery Level: Shows remaining power.
• Pulse Mode Status: Indicates if pulse mode is active.
• Laser Beam Status: Confirms active laser lines.

6. Pulse Mode:

Activate pulse mode for use with a laser receiver (sold separately) to extend the working range or for outdoor applications where the laser line may be difficult to see. Refer to your receiver's manual for specific instructions.

7. Manual Mode (Locked Pendulum):

To project angled lines, engage the manual mode by locking the pendulum. This typically involves a switch or a specific button sequence. In manual mode, the laser will not self-level, allowing you to set the device at any desired angle.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the device. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Keep the laser apertures clean and free of dust.
• Storage: Store the laser level in a dry, cool place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. If storing for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.
• Battery Care: Avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge as needed.

Troubleshooting

• Laser Lines Blinking: This indicates the device is outside its self-leveling range. Adjust the position of the laser level until the lines become steady.
• No Laser Output: Ensure the device is powered on and fully charged. Check if it's in manual mode, which might require a specific action to activate the laser.
• Inaccurate Lines: If you suspect inaccuracy, perform a calibration check on a known level surface. If issues persist, contact customer support.
