2. Safety Instructions

WARNING: Failure to follow these safety instructions may result in fire, electric shock, or injury.

  • Read all instructions before using this heater.
  • This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains, at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
  • Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
  • Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.
  • Do not use outdoors. This heater is intended for indoor use only.
  • Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
  • To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
  • A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
  • Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
  • Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

5. Setup and Installation

The VEVOR EATB28-80 heater offers versatile installation options: floor-standing with the included tripod, or wall/ceiling mounting using the provided bracket.

5.1. Tripod Stand Assembly (Floor-Standing)

  1. Unpack the tripod stand components.
  2. Extend the legs of the tripod to form a stable base. Secure them using the locking mechanisms.
  3. Insert the main pole into the tripod base and tighten the knob to secure it at the desired height.
  4. Attach the heater unit to the top of the main pole using the provided large wing nuts and ensure it is firmly secured.
  5. Adjust the height and angle of the heater as needed, ensuring stability before operation.

5.2. Wall/Ceiling Mounting

  1. Identify a suitable mounting location on a wall or ceiling, ensuring it is a safe distance from combustible materials (minimum 3 feet).
  2. Use the black mounting bracket as a template to mark drilling points.
  3. Drill pilot holes and secure the mounting bracket to the surface using appropriate fasteners (flat head screws provided, additional hardware may be needed depending on surface material).
  4. Attach the heater unit to the mounting bracket, ensuring it is securely fastened with the small wing nuts.
  5. Ensure the protective guard is properly installed over the heating elements.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1. Powering On/Off

  1. Ensure the heater is properly installed and plugged into a suitable power outlet.
  2. Locate the main power switch on the side of the heater unit. Flip it to the 'ON' position.
  3. Use the remote control to turn the heater on or off. Press the power button (1 on remote diagram) to activate or deactivate the heating elements.

6.2. Adjusting Heat Settings

The heater has three power levels: P1 (low), P2 (medium), and P3 (high).

  • Press the 'Gear Increase' button (2 on remote diagram) to cycle through P1, P2, P3.
  • Press the 'Gear Reduction' button (3 on remote diagram) to decrease the power level.
  • The current power level will be displayed on the LED screen.

6.3. Using the Timer Function

The heater features a 24-hour timer.

  • Press the 'Timing' button (4 on remote diagram) on the remote control.
  • Each press will increase the timer by one hour, up to 24 hours.
  • The heater will automatically shut off once the set time has elapsed.

7. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

  • Cleaning: Before cleaning, ensure the heater is turned off, unplugged, and completely cooled. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe down the exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: If storing the heater for an extended period, ensure it is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, to protect it from dust and damage.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the power cord and plug for any signs of damage. If damage is found, do not use the heater and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting
