2. Inflate the Spa Body
Connect the inflation hose to the pump/control unit's air jet outlet and to the spa's inflation valve. Turn on the pump and activate the bubble function to inflate. The pump is designed to prevent over-inflation by releasing excess air. Inflation typically takes several minutes.

3. Connect Pump/Control Unit and Install Filters
Attach the pump/control unit to the spa body using the provided connections. Install the two filter cartridges into their designated housings inside the spa. Ensure they are screwed in securely.

Maintenance
1. Filter Cleaning and Replacement
Regularly clean the filter cartridges to ensure optimal water quality and pump efficiency. Rinse filters with a garden hose. Replace cartridges every few weeks, or more frequently depending on usage and water condition. One filter often appears worse than the other; replace the worse one and clean/reuse the other to extend its life.
2. Water Treatment
Maintain proper water chemistry using appropriate spa chemicals such as bromine tablets or chlorine. Regular testing and adjustment of pH and sanitizer levels are crucial to prevent biofilm and ensure a clean, safe spa environment. Adding a small amount of regular bleach after a few uses can help prevent bacterial growth.
3. Draining the Spa
To drain the spa, locate the drain plug at the bottom. Connect a garden hose to the drain valve to direct water away from the spa area. Use a shop vac to remove any remaining water after the main drainage. Avoid moving or rocking the spa excessively during drainage.
4. Spa Cover Care
Always use the energy-efficient spa cover when the spa is not in use. This helps retain heat, reduces energy consumption by up to 59%, and keeps debris out. Ensure the cover is securely fastened with the locking safety buckles to prevent accidental entry, especially by children.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Spa not inflating properly / losing air | Improper inflation hose connection; valve not sealed; small puncture. | Ensure inflation hose is securely twisted clockwise onto the valve. Check valve for debris. Inspect spa for punctures and use repair kit if necessary. |
| Water not heating / heating slowly | Heater not activated; dirty filter; ambient temperature too low; cover not used. | Activate heater on control panel. Clean or replace filters. Ensure spa cover is used to retain heat. Heating can take up to 24 hours initially. |
| Bubbles not strong enough / inconsistent | Filter clogged; air intake obstructed. | Clean or replace filter cartridges. Ensure air intake on pump unit is clear. |
| Water quality issues (e.g., cloudy, biofilm) | Improper water chemistry; infrequent filter cleaning. | Test water regularly and adjust chemical levels (chlorine/bromine, pH). Clean/replace filters frequently. Drain and clean spa if biofilm is present. |
| LED light not working | No batteries; corroded batteries; water intrusion. | Install 3 AAA batteries. Check for corrosion and replace batteries. Ensure light seals are intact. |
