2. Product Overview

The REAKOSOUND Single DIN Car Radio features a 6.9-inch touchscreen display and is designed to modernize your vehicle's audio and connectivity capabilities.

3. Setup & Installation

Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. It is recommended to have this unit installed by a professional if you are unfamiliar with car audio wiring.

3.1 General Wiring

Connect the main power harness to your vehicle's wiring. Ensure correct connections for +12V constant power, +12V ignition switch, ground, and speaker outputs. Refer to the detailed wiring diagram provided with your unit for specific color codes and connections.

3.2 Backup Camera Installation

The included backup camera provides enhanced safety when reversing. Connect the camera's video output to the 'CAM IN' port on the back of the radio. The camera's power wires (red and black) should be connected to your vehicle's reversing lamp for automatic activation when shifting into reverse.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

The unit powers on automatically with the vehicle's ignition. To manually power off or on, press the power button located on the top left of the unit's front panel.

4.2 Apple CarPlay & Android Auto

Connect your iPhone or Android smartphone via a USB cable to enable Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. This allows you to access navigation, music, messages, and calls directly from the car radio's touchscreen or via voice commands (Siri/Google Assistant).

4.3 Bluetooth Connectivity

Pair your smartphone with the car radio via Bluetooth for hands-free calling and wireless audio streaming. Navigate to the Bluetooth settings on the radio to pair your device. You can dial numbers, access contacts, and play music directly from your phone.

4.4 Mirror Link Function

The Mirror Link feature allows you to display your smartphone's screen directly onto the car radio's display. Connect your phone via USB and select the Mirror Link option on the radio. This is ideal for viewing videos or using navigation apps not natively supported by CarPlay/Android Auto.

4.5 AM/FM Radio & RDS

Access local radio stations using the AM/FM tuner. The built-in RDS (Radio Data System) chip provides additional information such as station names, traffic messages, and weather forecasts directly on the screen. You can save your favorite stations for quick access.

4.6 USB Playback & Fast Charging

Insert a USB drive into one of the unit's USB ports to play multimedia files (RM, RMVB, AVI, MP4, MKV, 3GP). The USB ports also support fast charging for your mobile devices.

4.7 EQ Sound Adjustment

Adjust the audio equalizer (EQ) settings to customize your listening experience. The unit offers various preset EQ modes (e.g., Pop, Classic) and allows for manual adjustment of frequency bands.

5. Troubleshooting

If you encounter issues with your car radio, please refer to the following common solutions:

  • No Power: Check all power connections (constant 12V, ignition 12V, ground). Ensure the vehicle's fuse is not blown.
  • No Sound: Verify speaker connections. Check the volume level and mute settings. Ensure the correct audio source is selected.
  • CarPlay/Android Auto Not Connecting: Ensure you are using a high-quality USB data cable. Check your phone's settings to ensure CarPlay/Android Auto is enabled and allowed for the device.
  • Unit is Stuck/Unresponsive: If the machine becomes unresponsive, use a small, pointed object (like a card needle or SIM ejector tool) to gently press the 'RES' (Reset) button. This will restart the device.
  • Backup Camera Not Displaying: Check the video input connection to the 'CAM IN' port. Ensure the camera's power is correctly wired to the reverse light.
