Setup

1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection

Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Ensure the following items are present:

  • USB-C Cable

2. Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the DX180. Connect the supplied USB-C cable to the device and a compatible USB power adapter (not included). The DX180 supports PD3.0 and QC3.0 fast charging. A full charge takes approximately 84 minutes.

3. Installing a Micro SD Card (Optional)

The DX180 supports Micro SD cards up to 2 TB for expanded storage. Locate the Micro SD card slot on the device. Insert the card gently until it clicks into place. To remove, press the card inward until it springs out.

4. Powering On/Off

To power on, press and hold the power button until the screen illuminates. To power off, press and hold the power button, then select 'Power off' from the on-screen options.

Operating Instructions

1. User Interface and Navigation

The DX180 runs on Android 13, offering a familiar smartphone-like interface. Navigate using the touchscreen. Swipe down from the top for quick settings and notifications. Access applications from the home screen or app drawer.

2. Audio Playback

The DX180 supports various audio formats including MP3, AAC, FLAC, and DSD. Use the pre-installed Mango player or download third-party streaming applications. The device bypasses System Sample Rate Conversion (SRC) for high-resolution audio playback.

Connecting Headphones

The DX180 features both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced audio outputs. Connect your headphones to the appropriate port.

3. Bluetooth Functionality

The DX180 supports Bluetooth for both transmitting and receiving audio. To pair with Bluetooth headphones or speakers, go to Settings > Connected devices > Bluetooth and enable Bluetooth. Select your desired device from the list to pair.

4. USB-DAC Mode

The DX180 can function as a USB Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) when connected to a computer. Connect the DX180 to your computer using the USB-C cable. Select USB-DAC mode on the DX180 when prompted, or through the settings menu. Your computer should recognize the DX180 as an external audio device.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

Wipe the device with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals, cleaning solvents, or strong detergents. Avoid getting moisture into openings.

2. Storage

Store the DX180 in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. When not in use for extended periods, ensure the battery is partially charged (around 50%) to prolong its lifespan.

3. Software Updates

Troubleshooting
