Setup
1. Physical Connections

- Connect to TV: Plug the Romicta DVB-T2 HD Receiver directly into an available HDMI port on your television.
- Connect IR Receiver: Plug the Infrared (IR) receiver cable into the designated port on the DVB-T2 receiver. Position the IR receiver in a location where it can receive signals from the remote control.
- Connect Antenna: Connect your DVB-T/T2 antenna cable to the "ANT IN" port on the receiver.
- Connect Power: Connect the power adapter to the receiver and then plug it into a power outlet.
- Connect USB Wi-Fi Adapter (Optional): If you intend to use Wi-Fi features, plug the provided USB Wi-Fi adapter into the USB port on the receiver.
2. First-Time Setup and Channel Scan
- Turn on your TV and select the correct HDMI input source corresponding to where the Romicta receiver is connected.
- The receiver will power on automatically. Follow the on-screen prompts for initial setup.
- Select your preferred language and country.
- Initiate an automatic channel scan. This process will search for available DVB-T2/DVB-T channels in your area. This may take several minutes.
- Once the scan is complete, the receiver will save the channels and display the first available channel.
3. Wi-Fi Setup
To access online features like YouTube, ensure the USB Wi-Fi adapter is connected.
- Press the MENU button on your remote control.
- Navigate to the "Network" or "Wi-Fi Settings" menu.
- Select "Wi-Fi Manager" or "Network Search".
- Choose your Wi-Fi network from the list of available networks.
- Enter your Wi-Fi password using the on-screen keyboard and confirm.
- Once connected, you will see a confirmation message.
Operating Instructions
1. Remote Control Overview

The provided 2-in-1 remote control can operate both the DVB-T2 receiver and your television. Refer to the remote control diagram for button layout.
- POWER (Red button): Turns the receiver on/off.
- TV CONTROL section: Buttons for controlling basic TV functions (SET, TVIN, VOL-, VOL+).
- AUDIO: Selects audio track.
- EPG: Electronic Program Guide.
- SUB: Subtitles.
- INFO: Displays channel information.
- Directional Buttons (Up/Down/Left/Right) & OK: Navigation and selection.
- MENU: Accesses the main menu.
- EXIT: Exits current menu or function.

2. Basic TV Viewing
- Channel Selection: Use the CH+/CH- buttons or the number buttons to change channels.
- Volume Adjustment: Use the VOL+/VOL- buttons on the TV CONTROL section of the remote to adjust the TV volume.
- Electronic Program Guide (EPG): Press the EPG button to view program schedules.
- Information: Press the INFO button to display current program details.
3. PVR (Personal Video Recorder) Function

The PVR function allows you to record live TV programs to a USB storage device.
- Connect USB Drive: Insert a USB disk (formatted to FAT32) into the USB port of the receiver. The receiver supports hard drives up to 1TB.

4. LCN (Logical Channel Numbering)
LCN automatically sorts channels into a logical order based on broadcast standards. If you prefer a specific channel order, activate LCN. If LCN is off, channels may be sorted randomly based on scan order.
- To enable or disable LCN, go to the "Channel" or "Installation" menu in the settings.
- If you encounter issues with channel sorting, ensure LCN is enabled and perform a new channel scan.
5. Media Playback (USB)

- Insert a USB drive containing media files (videos, music, photos) into the USB port.
- Press the USB button on the remote or navigate to the "Media" menu.

- Supported formats include HEVC (max 10 bits), H.265, H.264, MP3, MKV, MP4, JPEG, AVI, WAVE, ASF, AAC, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF.
6. Network Functions (YouTube, IPTV)

- Press the YouTube button for direct access to YouTube.
- Press the IPTV button for IPTV services.
- Other online video services like TED, ALJAZEERA, Dailymotion, Livestream, ivi, Twitch, fLive, and World Football may be accessible through the network functions menu.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
