3. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your DREO DR-HSH006 Space Heater:
- Unpack: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging and ensure all components are present (heater unit, remote control, quick start guide).
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level, and heat-resistant surface. Ensure it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from walls, furniture, and other objects.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
- Remote Control Battery: The remote control comes with a Lithium Metal battery included. Ensure it is properly inserted.
4. Operating Instructions
The DREO DR-HSH006 can be operated using the touch controls on the top panel or the included remote control.
4.1 Power On/Off

4.4 Oscillation
- Press the Oscillation button (

4.5 Timer Function
- Press the Timer button (
) to set the auto-off timer for up to 12 hours. Each press increases the timer by 1 hour.
4.6 Child Lock
- To activate/deactivate the Child Lock, press and hold the Child Lock button (
) for 3 seconds. This prevents accidental changes to settings.
4.7 Mute Function
- Press and hold the Mute button (
) for 3 seconds to turn off or on the operational beeps.
4.8 Memory Function
- The heater will remember your last used settings (mode, temperature, oscillation, timer) when turned off and on again.
5. Maintenance
Regular cleaning and proper storage will ensure the longevity and efficient operation of your heater.
5.1 Cleaning
- Power Off and Unplug: Always turn off the heater and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning. Allow it to cool down completely.
- Exterior Cleaning: Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Air Intake/Exhaust: Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris from the air intake and exhaust grilles.
- Do Not Immerse: Never immerse the heater in water or any other liquid.
5.2 Storage
- When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place.
- It is recommended to store the heater in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
6. Troubleshooting
