2. Safety Instructions
To ensure safe operation and prevent injury or damage, always follow these basic precautions:
- Hot Surface Warning: Do not touch the heating areas during operation. The ceramic plate remains hot for up to 30 minutes after cooking. Wait until the 'HOT' indicator disappears before touching.
- Child Safety Lock: Utilize the child safety lock feature to prevent accidental operation by children.
- Overheat Protection: The appliance is equipped with an overheat protection feature that automatically shuts off the unit if internal temperatures become too high.
- Residual Heat Indicator: The 'HOT' indicator will flash until the surface cools down to a safe temperature.
- Electromagnetic Radiation: This electric cooktop does not emit electromagnetic radiation, making it safe for pregnant women.
- Stable Surface: Always place the cooktop on a stable, flat, and heat-resistant surface.
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit during operation. Do not block the cooling fan vents.
- Water and Liquids: Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Avoid spilling liquids directly onto the control panel or heating surface.
- Power Supply: Use only with a 110-120V power outlet.

4. Setup
- Unpack the electric stove and all accessories.
- Place the cooktop on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface, ensuring adequate space around the unit for ventilation.
- Ensure the power cord is not damaged and is securely plugged into a grounded 110-120V electrical outlet.
- Before first use, wipe the ceramic surface with a damp cloth.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
- Press the On/Off button to turn the cooktop on. The display will illuminate.
- Press the On/Off button again to turn the cooktop off. The 'HOT' indicator may remain lit until the surface cools.
5.2 Adjusting Power and Temperature
- Knob Control: Rotate the front-facing knob to adjust the power level from 100W to 1800W.
- Touch Control: Use the touch control panel on the right side to select pre-set functions such as BBQ, Stir Fry, or Steam.
5.3 Timer Function
- Press the Timer button to activate the timer.
- Use the '+' and '-' buttons to set the desired cooking time, up to 180 minutes.
- The cooktop will automatically shut off once the timer expires.
5.4 Child Safety Lock
- To activate the child safety lock, press and hold the Lock (3 sec) button for 3 seconds. The lock indicator will illuminate.
- When the lock is active, only the On/Off button can be operated.
- To deactivate, press and hold the Lock (3 sec) button again for 3 seconds.

- Ensure the cooktop is dry before storing or next use.

8. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Karinear Portable Electric Stove, please refer to the following common solutions:
- No Power: Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working 110-120V outlet. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped.
- Cooktop Not Heating: Verify that the unit is turned on and the desired power level is set. Ensure compatible cookware is placed correctly on the heating zone.
- 'HOT' Indicator Remains On: This is normal after use. The indicator will turn off once the surface has cooled down sufficiently.
- Automatic Shut-off: The cooktop may automatically shut off if it has been operating for an extended period (e.g., 2 hours) or if an internal temperature sensor detects overheating. Allow the unit to cool before restarting.
- Child Lock Engaged: If controls are unresponsive, check if the child safety lock is active. Deactivate it by pressing and holding the Lock button for 3 seconds.
