Controls and Indicators:

  • Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
  • Mode Button: Switch between Bluetooth, DAB+, and FM radio modes.
  • Volume Up/Down Buttons: Adjust audio volume.
  • Play/Pause Button: Control audio playback in Bluetooth mode.
  • Tune/Skip Buttons: Navigate radio stations or skip tracks.
  • Preset Buttons (1 & 2): Quickly access saved radio stations.
  • Display Screen: Shows time, station information, and mode.
  • Extendable Antenna: For optimal DAB+ and FM radio reception.

5. Setup

5.1 Charging the Speaker

  1. Locate the USB-C charging port on the rear of the speaker.
  2. Connect the provided USB-C cable to the speaker and the other end to a compatible USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The display will indicate charging status. A full charge takes approximately 3-4 hours and provides up to 14 hours of playtime.
  4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable.

5.2 Powering On/Off

  • To power on, press and hold the Power Button until the display lights up.
  • To power off, press and hold the Power Button again until the display turns off.

6. Operating

6.1 Bluetooth Mode

Connect your smartphone, tablet, or other Bluetooth-enabled device to the Woodland Mini for wireless audio streaming.

  1. Power on the speaker.
  2. Press the Mode Button repeatedly until "Bluetooth" appears on the display. The speaker will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing Bluetooth icon.
  3. On your device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
  4. Select "Pure Woodland Mini" from the list. Once connected, the Bluetooth icon on the speaker's display will stop flashing.
  5. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker. Use the Play/Pause and Volume buttons on the speaker or your device to control playback.

6.2 DAB+/FM Radio Mode

Enjoy digital (DAB+) and analog (FM) radio broadcasts.

  1. Extend the telescopic antenna fully for best reception.
  2. Press the Mode Button to select either "DAB+" or "FM" mode.
  3. For DAB+ (First Use): The speaker will automatically perform a full scan for available stations. This may take a few minutes.
  4. For FM (First Use): Press and hold the Tune/Skip buttons to auto-scan for stations.
  5. Changing Stations: In DAB+ or FM mode, short press the Tune/Skip buttons to navigate through available stations.
  6. Saving Presets: The Woodland Mini supports 40 presets. Tune to your desired station, then press and hold one of the Preset Buttons (1 or 2) until the display confirms the save. Short press a preset button to recall a saved station.

7. Maintenance

7.1 Cleaning

The Woodland Mini is IP67 rated, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. However, proper cleaning is still recommended.

  • Wipe the speaker with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • If the speaker gets dirty from outdoor use, you can rinse it gently under tap water, ensuring the charging port cover is securely closed. Allow it to air dry completely before charging or using.
  • Do not submerge the speaker in saltwater or other chemicals.

7.2 Storage

  • Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • If storing for an extended period, charge the battery to approximately 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
