The LuMIN8 Delta Plus is a self-powered outdoor siren made of polycarbonate, featuring a blue strobe light. It is designed for use with security systems, offering a maximum sound pressure of 114 dBA. It can be used as a siren on a BUS system or as a conventional siren.
2. Safety Information

- Battery: Use only the specified Ni-MH rechargeable battery (8.4V, 280mA/h). Do not attempt to open or short-circuit the battery. Dispose of batteries responsibly.

4.2 Mounting the Siren
- Carefully open the siren casing.
- Mark the drilling points on the wall using the siren's backplate as a template.
- Drill holes and insert wall plugs if necessary.
- Secure the siren's backplate to the wall using the provided screws.
4.3 Wiring
Connect the siren to your alarm control panel according to the wiring diagram provided with your alarm system. The LuMIN8 Delta Plus supports both BUS and conventional wiring configurations. Ensure correct polarity for power connections.
Important: Install the Ni-MH rechargeable battery (8.4V, 280mA/h) into its designated compartment after all wiring is complete and before closing the casing. The battery provides backup power and is essential for proper operation.

- Disarming: The siren will cease operation when the alarm system is disarmed via your control panel or remote device.
- Logo Backlighting: The customizable logo features timed backlighting, which can be configured through your alarm system's settings (if supported).
6. Maintenance
- Cleaning: Periodically clean the exterior of the siren with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Check: The Ni-MH battery is rechargeable and designed for long life. However, it is recommended to have the battery checked by a qualified technician every 3-5 years, or if the siren's performance degrades.
- Visual Inspection: Regularly inspect the siren for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or obstruction of the sound output or strobe light.
