Setup
Initial Pairing
- Ensure your Pixel Buds Pro 2 charging case is charged.
- Open the charging case near your Android phone or tablet.
- A notification will appear on your device to begin the pairing process. Follow the on-screen instructions.
- For other Bluetooth-enabled devices, open the case, press and hold the pairing button on the back of the case until the indicator light flashes white, then select "Pixel Buds Pro 2" from your device's Bluetooth settings.

Touch Controls
- Tap once: Play/Pause audio, Answer/End call.
- Tap twice: Skip forward, Decline call.
- Tap three times: Skip backward.
- Swipe forward/backward: Adjust volume.
- Press and hold: Toggle Active Noise Cancellation/Transparency Mode, or activate Google Assistant.
Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) & Transparency Mode
The Pixel Buds Pro 2 utilize the Tensor A1 chip for enhanced Active Noise Cancellation, blocking out ambient noise. Transparency Mode allows you to hear your surroundings without removing the earbuds. Toggle between modes using touch controls or the Pixel Buds app.
Clear Calling
Equipped with beamforming mics and wind-blocking mesh covers, the earbuds use Google AI to ensure your voice is crystal clear during calls, even in noisy environments. Conversation Detection automatically pauses music and switches to Transparency mode when you start speaking.
