4.1 Front Panel

5. Setup

5.1 Power Connection

1. Connect the power adapter to the DC IN 5V port on the rear of the RT850BT.
2. Plug the power adapter into a standard wall outlet.
3. The unit will power on automatically or enter standby mode.

5.2 Initial Power On and Clock Setting

1. If the unit is in standby, press the /MODE button to turn it on.
2. To set the clock, press and hold the /MEM button until the time display flashes.
3. Use the </PREV and >/NEXT buttons to adjust the hour. Press /MEM to confirm.
4. Use the </PREV and >/NEXT buttons to adjust the minute. Press /MEM to confirm.
5. The clock is now set.

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Bluetooth Mode

1. Press the /MODE button repeatedly until 'bt' appears on the display. The unit is now in Bluetooth pairing mode.
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select 'RT850BT' from the list to pair. A confirmation tone will sound upon successful connection.
4. You can now play audio from your device through the RT850BT.
5. Use the /SCAN button to Play/Pause, and </PREV / >/NEXT buttons to skip tracks.
6. Adjust volume using the VOLUME- and VOLUME+ buttons.

6.2 FM Radio Mode

1. Press the /MODE button repeatedly until the FM frequency appears on the display.
2. Auto Scan: Press and hold the /SCAN button to automatically scan and save available FM stations (up to 50 stations).
3. Manual Tuning: Briefly press </PREV or >/NEXT to fine-tune the frequency. Press and hold to scan for the next available station.
4. Recall Saved Stations: Briefly press the /MEM button to cycle through saved stations.

6.3 Alarm Clock Function

The RT850BT supports setting multiple alarms.

1. In standby mode, press and hold the /MEM button until 'AL1' or 'AL2' flashes.
2. Use </PREV and >/NEXT to set the alarm hour, then press /MEM to confirm.
3. Repeat for minutes.
4. Select the alarm source (Buzzer or FM Radio) using </PREV and >/NEXT, then press /MEM.
5. To activate/deactivate an alarm, briefly press the /MEM button in standby mode to cycle through alarm settings (AL1 ON/OFF, AL2 ON/OFF).
6. When the alarm sounds, press /SLEEP/Z^Z for snooze (alarm will sound again after 9 minutes) or press /MODE to turn off the alarm for the day.

6.4 AUX-IN Mode

1. Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, smartphone) to the 'Line In' (AUX-IN) port on the rear panel using a 3.5mm audio cable (not included).
2. Press the /MODE button repeatedly until 'AUX' appears on the display.
3. Audio from the connected device will now play through the RT850BT. Control playback from your external device.

6.5 Dimmer Function

The display brightness can be adjusted to three intensity levels.

• In any mode, briefly press the /SLEEP/Z^Z button to cycle through the brightness levels.

6.6 Sleep Function

Set a timer for the unit to automatically turn off.

1. While the unit is on, press the /SLEEP/Z^Z button repeatedly to select the desired sleep timer duration (e.g., 15, 30, 60, 90 minutes, OFF).
2. The unit will automatically power off after the selected time.

6.7 USB-C Charging Port

The USB-C port on the rear panel is for charging external devices.

• Connect your compatible device's USB-C charging cable to the 'Charge output' port.
