Important Safety Information

  • Ensure the power outlet voltage matches the rating of the heater.
  • Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord or plug. If the cord or plug is damaged, contact qualified service personnel.
  • Keep combustible materials such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) from the front of the heater and away from the sides and rear.
  • Do not use the heater in bathrooms, laundry areas, or similar indoor locations where it may come into contact with water.
  • Always unplug the heater when not in use.
  • Do not insert or allow foreign objects into any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
  • This appliance is equipped with a CSA certification, ensuring it meets safety standards.
  • The heater includes overheat protection, which automatically shuts off the unit if it reaches an unsafe temperature.
  • It also features tip-over protection, automatically shutting down if tilted more than 45 degrees.

Package Contents

Before beginning assembly, ensure all parts are present and undamaged. If any parts are missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble or operate the heater. Contact customer support for assistance.

Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your electric fireplace heater.

  1. Unpack the Unit: Carefully remove the electric fireplace heater and all components from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage or shipping.
  2. Attach the Legs: Place the main heater unit upside down on a soft, non-abrasive surface to prevent scratching. Align each of the four legs with the designated mounting points on the bottom of the heater. Secure each leg using the provided screws and Phillips screwdriver. Ensure all screws are tightened securely.
  3. Position the Heater: Once the legs are attached, carefully turn the heater upright and place it on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is adequate clearance from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials (at least 3 feet). Do not block the air intake or exhaust vents.
  4. Connect to Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded 120V AC outlet. Ensure the outlet is in good condition and not overloaded with other appliances.

Operating Instructions

Your Silonn Electric Fireplace Heater offers both heating and a realistic flame effect. The control panel is located on the side of the unit.

Control Panel Overview

  • Temperature Control Knob: A rotary knob used to adjust the desired room temperature from 62°F to 82°F. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
  • Power Switch: Controls the main power to the unit, including the flame effect.
  • Heat Switch: Activates or deactivates the heating function. This allows you to enjoy the flame effect without heat.

Basic Operation

  1. Turn On: Flip the Power Switch to the 'ON' position. The realistic 3D flame effect will illuminate.
  2. Activate Heat: To enable heating, flip the Heat Switch to the 'ON' position.
  3. Set Temperature: Rotate the Temperature Control Knob to your desired temperature setting between 62°F and 82°F. The heater will begin to emit warm air.
  4. Adjust Flame Only: If you wish to enjoy only the flame effect without heat, ensure the Power Switch is 'ON' and the Heat Switch is 'OFF'.
  5. Turn Off: To turn off the heater, first flip the Heat Switch to 'OFF' (if heating was active), then flip the Power Switch to 'OFF'. For extended periods of non-use, unplug the unit from the wall outlet.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your electric fireplace heater.

  • Cleaning: Always unplug the heater from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners, sprays, or harsh chemicals. Ensure no water enters the interior of the heater.
  • Dust Removal: Periodically use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to clean the air intake and exhaust vents to prevent dust buildup, which can affect heating efficiency.
  • Storage: When not in use for extended periods, store the heater in a cool, dry place, preferably in its original packaging, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
