Setup and Installation
Please ensure power is disconnected at the main circuit breaker before beginning installation.

- Prepare the Fixture: Rotate the main body of the spotlight counter-clockwise to detach it from the ceiling base.
- Mount the Base: Secure the ceiling base to the desired mounting surface using the provided screws and wall plugs. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Wire Connection: Connect the electrical wires from your ceiling to the terminal block on the spotlight's base. Ensure correct polarity (Live, Neutral, Earth if applicable) and secure connections.
- Install Bulb (Not Included): Insert a compatible GU10 bulb (max 35W, Ø50mm) into the GU10 lamp holder.
- Attach Spotlight Body: Align the spotlight body with the mounted ceiling base and rotate clockwise until it is securely fastened.
- Restore Power: Once installation is complete and all connections are secure, restore power at the main circuit breaker.
Operating Instructions
The GeyouLux GU10 Surface Mounted Spotlight is designed for straightforward operation.
- Power On/Off: Control the light using your standard wall switch.
- Adjusting Light Direction: The inner ring of the spotlight can be swiveled up to 30 degrees, allowing you to direct the light beam as needed. Gently adjust the inner ring to achieve your desired lighting angle.

The light color, brightness, and dimming function depend entirely on the GU10 bulb you choose to install. This fixture is compatible with various GU10 bulb types, including LED, halogen, dimmable, and smart bulbs, provided they are Ø50mm and do not exceed 35W.

Maintenance
- Cleaning: Ensure the power is off and the fixture is cool before cleaning. Wipe the surface with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Bulb Replacement: Disconnect power before replacing the bulb. Allow the old bulb to cool completely. Rotate the spotlight body counter-clockwise to detach it, then carefully remove and replace the GU10 bulb. Reattach the spotlight body by rotating clockwise.
- Inspection: Periodically check for any signs of damage to the wiring or fixture. If damage is found, discontinue use and consult a qualified electrician.
