Operating Instructions

The LINKChef Food Processor features a simple one-button control with two speeds based on pressure applied.

Basic Operation

  1. Ensure the appliance is properly assembled and plugged into a power outlet.
  2. Place your hand on top of the motor unit and press the button to activate the blades.
  3. Release the button to stop operation.
  4. For optimal results and to prevent motor overheating, operate in short pulses (5-10 seconds) rather than continuous running. Do not operate continuously for more than 1 minute. Allow the motor to cool down between cycles if processing for extended periods.

Speed Control

The food processor offers two speeds based on the pressure applied to the control button:

  • Light Press: Provides a lower speed for a coarser chop, suitable for ingredients like fruits, garlic, and peppers.
  • Deep Press: Provides a higher speed for a finer chop, ideal for nuts, meats, and carrots, or for creating purees.

Figure 3: Illustration of the two-speed control mechanism, demonstrating how light pressure on the button results in a slower speed for softer ingredients, while deep pressure activates a faster speed for harder ingredients.

Usage Examples

  • Chopping Vegetables: For onions, garlic, or other vegetables, use short pulses with light pressure until desired consistency is achieved.
  • Grinding Meat: Cut meat into small cubes (approx. 1-inch) before placing it in the bowl. Use deep pressure in short bursts until the meat is ground to your preference.
  • Making Purees: For baby food or smooth sauces, use deep pressure for slightly longer durations, ensuring the motor does not overheat.
