3. Setup and Assembly
Your VECELO Mesh Office Chair requires assembly. Please follow these steps carefully. It is recommended to assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface to prevent damage.
3.1. Package Contents
Before starting, verify that all parts are present:
- Backrest
- Seat Cushion
- Armrests (Left and Right)
- Gas Lift Cylinder
- Star Base
- Casters (5 pieces)
- Control Mechanism (under-seat plate)
- Hardware Kit (screws, washers, Allen wrench)

3.2. Assembly Steps
- Attach Casters to Base: Insert each of the five casters into the holes at the end of each leg of the star base. Push firmly until they click into place.
- Insert Gas Lift: Place the gas lift cylinder into the center hole of the assembled star base. Do not remove the red cap from the top of the gas lift until instructed.
- Attach Control Mechanism to Seat: Align the control mechanism with the screw holes on the underside of the seat cushion. Ensure the front of the mechanism faces the front of the seat. Secure with screws provided in the hardware kit.
- Attach Armrests to Seat and Backrest: Attach the armrests to the sides of the seat cushion using the designated screws. Then, attach the backrest to the armrests and the seat using the remaining screws. Ensure all connections are tight but do not overtighten.
- Connect Seat Assembly to Gas Lift: Carefully place the assembled seat and backrest onto the gas lift cylinder, ensuring the center hole of the control mechanism aligns with the top of the gas lift. Press down firmly to secure.
Note: If you encounter difficulty, refer to the diagrams in the included paper manual. Do not force parts together. If screws are difficult to insert, check alignment.
4. Operating Instructions
Your VECELO Mesh Office Chair offers several adjustments for personalized comfort.
4.1. Height Adjustment
To adjust the chair height:
- To raise: While seated, lift the lever located on the right side of the seat. Lift your weight slightly off the seat, and the chair will rise. Release the lever at the desired height.
- To lower: While seated, lift the lever and apply your weight to the seat. The chair will lower. Release the lever at the desired height.
4.2. Tilt/Recline Function
The chair features a tilt function for reclining:
- To enable tilt: Pull the same lever (used for height adjustment) outwards. The backrest will now allow you to lean back.
- To lock upright: Push the lever inwards to lock the backrest in an upright position.
- Tilt Tension Adjustment: Rotate the round knob located under the seat, at the front of the control mechanism. Turn clockwise to increase tension (making it harder to recline) or counter-clockwise to decrease tension (making it easier to recline).
4.3. Armrest Adjustment
The armrests can be flipped up to save space:
- Simply lift the armrests upwards until they lock into a vertical position.
- To return them to the horizontal position, pull them down.

4.4. Ergonomic Features
The chair is designed with an S-shaped backrest and lumbar support to promote good posture and reduce strain during long periods of sitting.
