Installation

The Noritz GT-1651SAWX-FFA-2BL is an indoor wall-mounted, forced exhaust type gas water heater. Proper installation is critical for safety and performance.

Installation Requirements:

  • Gas Type: For City Gas (12A, 13A).
  • Mounting: Indoor wall-mounted.
  • Exhaust Method: Forced exhaust type (push-in).

Connection Details:

  • Water Supply/Hot Water Connection: R1/2 (15A) or R3/4 (20A).

Circulation Pipe Installation:

The maximum length for circulation pipe installation is 25 meters for Ø12.7 copper pipes (with up to 10 bends) or Ø10 resin pipes (with an inner diameter of 8 or more). For lengths between 15-25 meters, use a circulation adapter HX series and adjust settings according to the installation manual.

  • Upper Limit: The circulation pipe must be within 7 meters from the bottom of the appliance to the overflow edge of the bathtub.
  • Lower Limit: The circulation pipe must be within 2 meters from the bottom of the appliance to the circulation adapter.
  • If there are obstacles in the path of the circulation pipe, ensure it is within 3 meters and at one location.

Exhaust Pipe Installation:

The exhaust pipe extension must use a specified exhaust pipe top. Installation should be within 1 to 3 bends and within 7 meters. The exhaust pipe diameter is Ø80-Ø120, double pipe.
