1. Important Safety Information
Please read all safety instructions carefully before installation and operation to prevent accidents, property damage, or injury. Keep this manual for future reference.
- Gas Type Verification: Always confirm that the gas type indicated on the product's nameplate matches the gas supply available (City Gas 12A, 13A, or LPG).
- Ventilation: Ensure adequate ventilation is provided in the installation area, considering the gas consumption of this unit and any other gas appliances in the same room.
- Fire Safety Clearance: Install the appliance in a location where surrounding walls are fire-safe or where effective fire-prevention clearances can be maintained.
- Combustible Materials: Maintain fire-safe separation distances from combustible materials (including parts of buildings finished with combustible, flame-retardant, or quasi-noncombustible materials). If sufficient clearance cannot be maintained, always implement fire protection measures using a heat shield.
- Leakage Inspection: After completing gas connections, always perform a leakage inspection.
- Professional Installation: Installation and related work must be performed by a qualified professional in accordance with all applicable laws and standards, including but not limited to: Technical Standards for Electrical Equipment, Electrician's Act, Internal Wiring Regulations, Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Act, Building Standards Act, local ordinances, Fire Service Act, Gas Business Act, Liquefied Petroleum Gas Act, and Gas Appliance Installation Standards and Practical Guidelines (issued by the Japan Gas Appliance Inspection Association).
- Warranty: Faults or damages resulting from installation that does not meet specified conditions will be subject to paid repair, even within the warranty period.
- Customer Responsibility: The customer is responsible for arranging the installation and related work for the appliance.
- Required Parts: Please prepare any parts not included with the product yourself.

5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and efficient operation of your gas water heater. Always turn off the gas and power supply before performing any maintenance.
- Exterior Cleaning: Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Water Filter Cleaning: The water filter (part of the drain plug) should be periodically checked and cleaned to prevent blockages.
- Professional Inspection: It is recommended to have the unit inspected by a qualified service technician at least once a year to ensure all components are functioning correctly and safely.
- Freeze Prevention: The unit is equipped with a freeze prevention device (drain plug, electric heater). In extremely cold conditions, ensure proper drainage or consult a professional for additional measures.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your water heater, refer to the following basic troubleshooting steps. For complex problems, contact a qualified service technician.
- No Hot Water: Check if the gas supply is on, the power supply is connected, and the water pressure is adequate. Ensure no error codes are displayed on the remote or unit.
- Water Not Hot Enough: Verify the temperature setting. Check for sufficient gas flow and water pressure.
- Unusual Noises: If you hear unusual sounds, turn off the unit immediately and contact a service professional.
- Gas Odor: If you smell gas, immediately turn off the main gas supply, open windows for ventilation, and evacuate the premises. Do not operate any electrical switches or phones. Contact your gas company and a service professional.
- Error Codes: If an error code appears on the remote or unit, consult the detailed troubleshooting section in the full product manual or contact customer support.
