4. Setup Guide
4.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, fully charge the VMATE MAX device. Connect the provided Type-C charging cable to the charging port on the device and the other end to a suitable USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer USB port). The hidden screen will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 60 minutes with a 5V/2A charger.
4.2 Installing and Filling the Cartridge
- Remove the cartridge from the device.
- Locate the top-fill port on the cartridge. Open the silicone plug.
- Carefully fill the cartridge with your desired e-liquid through the fill port. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the silicone plug.
- Insert the filled cartridge back into the device. Ensure it clicks firmly into place.
- Important: After filling a new cartridge, wait at least 5-10 minutes before first use to allow the coil to become fully saturated with e-liquid. This prevents dry hits and extends coil life.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
To power on the device, press the fire button (main button) 5 times rapidly. Repeat the process to power off the device.
5.2 Vaping
The VMATE MAX is an auto-draw device. Simply inhale from the mouthpiece to activate the device and produce vapor. The device will automatically adjust the wattage based on the installed cartridge and airflow setting.
5.3 Airflow Adjustment
The device features a stepless airflow adjustment slider, usually located on the side of the device. Slide it up or down to increase or decrease the airflow, customizing your draw from a tighter MTL (Mouth-to-Lung) to a looser RDL (Restricted Direct Lung) experience.
5.4 Screen Display
The hidden horizon screen displays essential information such as battery level, current wattage, coil resistance, and puff count. The dual 256-color LED lights provide visual feedback during operation and charging.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cartridge Replacement
Replace the cartridge when you notice a burnt taste, reduced vapor production, or a significant change in flavor. To replace, simply pull out the old cartridge and insert a new one after filling it with e-liquid and allowing it to prime.

Regularly clean the contact points between the cartridge and the device with a dry cotton swab to ensure optimal connection. Wipe down the device exterior with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasives.
