The awning features a manual hand crank for smooth and quiet operation. This allows you to extend or retract the awning and adjust its slope.
Extending and Retracting the Awning
- To extend the awning, turn the hand crank clockwise. Continue turning until the awning reaches the desired extension.
- To retract the awning, turn the hand crank anticlockwise. Continue turning until the awning is fully retracted against the wall.
Adjusting the Slope

4. Maintenance
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your awning.
General Care
- Regularly inspect the frame and fabric for any signs of wear or damage.
- Clean the fabric with mild soap and water. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that could damage the PU coating.
- Ensure all mounting hardware remains tight and secure.
Weather Precautions
Always retract the awning in extreme weather conditions such as heavy rain, strong winds (exceeding 28 MPH), or snow. While the fabric is water-resistant and wind-resistant up to a certain degree, retracting it will prevent potential damage to the awning and its mounting structure.

5. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your awning, refer to the following common troubleshooting tips:
- Awning not retracting/extending smoothly: Check for any obstructions in the arms or fabric path. Ensure the hand crank mechanism is clean and free of debris.
- Awning appears loose after installation: Re-check all mounting bolts and ensure they are securely tightened. Consult the installation guide for proper torque specifications.
- Unusual noises during operation: Inspect the moving parts for any signs of friction or wear. Lubricate joints if necessary with a suitable outdoor lubricant.
