4. Setup

1. Charge the Device: Before first use, fully charge the camera using the provided USB cable. Connect the cable to the Micro USB or Type-C port on the camera and a power source. The battery indicator will show charging progress.
2. Insert MicroSD Card: Open the protective cover on the side of the device. Carefully insert a microSD card (up to 256GB, not included) into the designated slot until it clicks into place. Close the cover.
3. Set Date and Time: Refer to the Japanese user manual for instructions on how to set the date and time stamp for your recordings. This ensures accurate timekeeping for evidence.

5. Operating Instructions

The UYIKOO Power Bank Hidden Camera features simple one-button operation.

1. Power On: Press and hold the power button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns on. The device will enter standby mode.
2. Take a Photo: In standby mode, short press the power button once. The indicator light will flash once, indicating a photo has been taken.
3. Start Video Recording: In standby mode, press and hold the power button for approximately 2-3 seconds. The indicator light will flash multiple times (e.g., 3 times) and then remain solid, indicating recording has started.
4. Stop Video Recording: During recording, short press the power button once. The indicator light will return to standby mode, and the recording will be saved.
5. Activate/Deactivate Night Vision: During recording, short press the power button twice. The night vision lights will activate/deactivate. The indicator light will change color (e.g., from green to blue) when viewed through a camera, as the IR lights are invisible to the naked eye. Night vision can also activate automatically in low light.
6. Motion Detection Mode: Use the L/M switch on the side of the device. Slide it to 'M' for motion detection. In this mode, the camera will automatically start recording when motion is detected in its field of view.
7. Loop Recording Mode: Use the L/M switch on the side of the device. Slide it to 'L' for loop recording. When the memory card is full, the oldest files will be automatically overwritten.
8. Power Off: Press and hold the power button for approximately 5-6 seconds until the indicator light flashes several times (e.g., 4 times) and then turns off.

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the camera lens and body. Avoid using liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
• Storage: Store the device in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and humidity.

• MicroSD Card: Periodically format the microSD card to maintain optimal performance and prevent data corruption. Back up important recordings before formatting.
