5. Setup & Installation
The BEYOND HEAT Electric Garage Heater is designed for ceiling mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is sturdy and can support the weight of the heater.
5.1 Mounting Bracket Installation
- Identify a suitable location on your ceiling or overhead structure. Ensure there is adequate clearance from combustible materials (at least 3 feet from the front, sides, and rear).
- Position the mounting bracket against the chosen surface. Mark the drill points for the screws.
- Drill pilot holes if necessary and securely fasten the mounting bracket using appropriate screws and anchors for your surface type.
5.2 Heater Attachment
- Remove the bolts and nuts from the side arms of the heater.
- Align the heater's side arms with the mounting bracket. Push the heater up, compressing the spring-loaded arms, and snap it into place on the bracket.
- Re-insert the bolts and nuts on each side and tighten them to secure the heater to the bracket.
- Adjust the angle of the heater by loosening the side bolts, tilting the heater to the desired 90° angle, and then re-tightening the bolts.

This image illustrates the heater's dimensions (24 inches wide, 12.2 inches high, 3.3 inches deep) and its ability to tilt up to 90 degrees, allowing for flexible heat direction.
5.3 Electrical Connection
Plug the heater's 3-prong grounded safety plug directly into a 120V grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords.
